Cooper Hodges  D+
Raymond Vohasek  C-

If those are our grades, our hopes of going to community college are gone.

Wow, Even I thought we did better than that today.

Someone should do the comparison of the grades given last draft by cbs compared to what we think of the players now.

Each of the players look talented, and I agree that depth was needed across the board. I forgive them for not finding many immediate starters. They may have found a few late round guys who will become starters in a year or three. My main ask heading into the draft was that they pick up 2 olinemen. And they did. My only complaint is the should have picked up that second player sooner. I still don't see a long term starter at guard or center on the roster.
My fellow southpaw Mark Brunell will probably always be my favorite Jaguar.

Giving today a B-. Ventrell Miller is the only real headscratcher today.

I'm revising yesterday's grade from a D to a C-. Strange looks to be a better pick than I thought, even though I still think Washington should have been that pick. I like Tank. But I still think value would have been at OL, Edge, or CB.

Overall, this draft looks like a B+ on paper. Excited to how it shakes out over the next few months.

Much better draft today than yesterday

Baalke is apparently of the school of thought of “throw as many darts as possible because you’re drastically increasing your chances of hitting” in the crapshoot that is the draft. I don’t necessarily disagree with that mindset.

I think when Cam is back in the mix that he or Harrison kick inside to guard.  Then again, I don't have irrational hatred against Cam like some others.  His play improved last season.  If he plays competently, I don't care what they're paying him whether or not I would have paid him that in their shoes.

The 2 A picks in this draft go to Johnson and Parish.

It's the $20M cap hit for me.

This is fair. I think if they move Lloyd outside and actually use Miller inside with Oluokon and Muma I can revisit the few complaints that I have in this class.

It's going to be the Bigsby pick at 88, the Miller pick at 121 and the Hallett pick at 208 that determine this draft for most fans with eyes.

Taking a RB over a potential OT/OG like Wanya Morris, Anthony Bradford and Blake Freeland to ensure better depth for Bartch and Scherff.

Taking an ILB over McGuire at DE or Herbig at OLB to fully address some of the pass rushing concerns.

Taking a S/Nickel over a TE like Kuntz or Willis when you spent two picks already to address it.

Those are going to be the big three takeaways for me. A lot rides on previous draft class selections stepping up of course and whether or not they move Lloyd outside. Only time will tell. As it always does with these classes.

I don’t think the jags have any room for priority, free agents this year

Hopefully both being he will be a back up starting out.  More of a defensive player though

Faber College was my aspiration.  Where else to go after the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor!

I have no problems taking a LB and RB if they are the BPA.  I always hated drafting for positions.  Bigsby is a beast although I'd have taken a number of players over him.  Washington, Phillips, Jones  etc.  Miller was the best player on Florida's D by a good margin imo.  And Rush is probably the one player I would have taken over him

I think we go to more of a 4-3 and Miller will be our number 1 back up LB

Strange was still by far the worst pick for me with Torrence and Washington there. I hope they got that one right
