It’s OK to discriminate against white people. Why?

There's no such race as Whites or Blacks so would ANYBody that's present and or reading my comments be willing to change places w/an so called Black Person? Would you be willing to be subjected to the Black History? This includes yesteryear's history, yesterday's history and today's history. Within several group sessions I have YET to have an Caucasion person admit that they would want to be treated like an Black or African American person. NOT ONE PERSON. If I as an black person discriminated against another black person because that black person discriminated against a white person, then I'm discriminating against that black person because he/she are racist, not their race. NH3...

It is NOT okay to discriminate against a different race.I respectfully disagree w/this sentence. But that's not what I said. I said, "If you discriminate against a white person because another white person discriminated against a black person, then you are discriminating against that white person because they are white." I'm talking about discriminating against white people who never discriminated against black people. Your example is person A penalizing person B because of something person B did. I'm talking about person A penalizing person B because of something person C did.
Not a damn thing… zero [BLEEP] guilt.

The cartoon does make a valid point, doesn't it? WTH? I don't get the whole pride thing in general. I didn't ask to be born a white female and I'm not proud to be white or a female. I'm not proud to be heterosexual or anything else. They're just who I am. I didn't do anything to achieve this. They're not an accomplishment they're just who I am. If I'm proud of anything it's goals I've reached in life and they have nothing to do with my race, my sex, or anything else of the kind. I know there are plenty of folks to do take pride in these things and more power to them I suppose, but I just don't get it. We show less advertisements to registered users. There is power to be derived from your happenstance. Saying “it just happened” only confirms your privilege. You must be targeted for retribution in order to elevate others. But that’s discrimination, you may say. No, it’s social and racial justice. You’re the equivalent of an unindicted co-conspirator in the realm of white supremacy. Your achievements in life weren’t earned, they were given to you because “it just happened”. Are you picking up what I’m throwing down? ![]() (08-12-2023, 07:56 PM)americus 2.0 Wrote:(08-11-2023, 06:13 PM)NYC4jags Wrote: Sure I'm not attempting to serve or propagate the concept of "pride" from any group. I was just pointing out the flaw in a post. Discrimination sucks, but it's a human flaw that we'll probably never rid ourselves of. Whites feeling discrimination is just a new cycle in the ever evolving social landscape as our society homogenizes and shifts in minority percentages. They sure do love to whine and complain about it around here, though. LOL
We could easily rid ourselves of racial discrimination. It won't be done by talking about it all the time, though.

You sure don't hear about the Dems and Libs talking about child trafficing and sex abuse as much as they do about race..

It's actually perfectly acceptable--hell, some might even say normal--to think that racism exists and is wrong and that child trafficking is also wrong. Nobody disagrees about the latter, but plenty of folks run around saying they "don't see color" or that "racism is only an issue because people keep making it an issue." By the way, it isn't liberal and democratic politicians who are trying to abolish minimum marriage ages and force underage girls to carry to term when raped by grown men. Just saying.

Repubs don't get extra points for being like "hey these things are wrong!" I agree. Most Republicans are keeping child abuse in the proper context. Most Republicans understand that it is always punished whenever it is known about. Unfortunately it often is not known about until years later. The people who loudly insist that elite people are committing this terrible act and going unpunished, they're not just filling the Republican vs Democrat arena up with nonsense, they're also filling the Republican vs Republican debate up with nonsense. Most people want to be a hero, or at least want to be one of the ones who supports the heroes of their time. If there is no crisis demanding a hero, or if you would rather ignore the crisis that does exist, you make up a crisis so you can paint yourself as the hero of it. Lies like this become very attractive.
