1010XL the new flagship home of the Jaguars?

Quote:Is the above true? WOKV is talk radio, almost all political. Almost no local programming aside from morning traffic/news and Jaguar games/shows. We show less advertisements to registered users. I don't like Bianchi or David Lamb either. You don't live for the Lamm Rant!? lol ![]()

Wokv is conservative talk radio that would carry the games and official jaguar programs. Moving it to 1010 makes sense if they really do broadcast comparably to what they had. Quote:No longer true. WOKV is 50,000 Watts Daytime and 25,000 watts nighttime. WJXL (1010) is 50,000 daytime and 30,000 nighttime. The move to 1010XL is smart because they need to fill airtime and will do it with Jags coverage. WOKV's FM footprint on 104.5 is significantly larger than what WJXL is pushing day or night. They're pumping out 98,800 watts 24/7 off the FM signal. You can hear them from Brunswick to Daytona. Never argue with idiots. They drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.
Quote:Hicken isn't bad. I can't stand Prosser. Anyone who has to scream into a mic just to make their point is a buffoon. He is a buffoon, yes, but I still enjoy their banter.

I don't know the exact range, but I can still pick up 1010 in Madison County, which is 45 mins outside of Tallahassee. Tallahassee is about 190 miles from Jacksonville.
WFAN is 50,000 watts at night and 1010XL is 30,000 so my guess it extends to maybe DC area?

Quote:Yes. No. Philly sportsradio sucks. Last time I checked Philly was in the northeast. I have read comments by you guys that your sportsradio sucks, so do come at me with that. I'm just going on what some of you have told me in the past. If 1010 is better now, then cool. When I move to Florida, I'll want to listen to some good sportsradio, and hopefully a lot of Jags coverage 24. 7 Quote:No. Philly sportsradio sucks too.you can listen to them online

Quote:you can listen to them online I tried before but have been having an issue with the tunein radio app lately. I used to get wokv in no problem on tunein when they had those weekly Jags shows, We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!

As far as TuneIn, most of the time all I hear is Jack O'Brien saying that this is the alternate channel... ![]() Quote:I tried before but have been having an issue with the tunein radio app lately.
