Bridgewater Pro Day

It would not have been blown off if he light it up! There would be 100 " I told you so" threads going right now.

Bridgewater just proved what half this board already knows.  He can't spin it.  The guy is a soft tosser that is only good between 0-10 yards.  He is garbage outside of 10 yards.

Hey homie, your exactly right and I've harped on that very issue before but the cult worshipers wont have it. Either way it don't matter cause if the Jags are going QB it's going to be JFF! The cult followers like comparing that scrub teddy to QB legends like Manning and Brady or elite QB's like Rogers. But JFF has some of the biggest hands in the QB draft class and can wing it and he can stick and move! Sure he throws some 50/50 balls every once in a while but so did Brett Farve. I'll take the gunslinger any day and twice on Sunday!!!

Teddy is the smarter version of Geno Smith. If the vikings don't draft him he may free fall like Geno too.

Interesting, after the bucs signed josh McCown and having Mike Glennon on the bench.I can't imagine them signing another QB right out of the gate. Lovie Smith will be pushing for a defensive stud.As for the Vikings. Who knows, but I could see them drafting TB.

I smell lots of linkage between Teddy Bridgewater and Aaron Murray. It's uncanny when Bridgewater essentially flunks his last chance to prove his NFL QB manhood, Dungy starts flapping around about this Murray guy like a mockingbird does when her baby falls out of the nest.

Now more Murray lovers.

Murray is a name that keeps getting linked to the Jaguars as a later-round possibility. Coach Gus Bradley was very impressed with Murray at the Senior Bowl. Though Murray was unable to play because he is still recovering from a torn ACL, he was an active participant in meetings. He took notes. He asked questions. He treated the experience as if he was going to play.

That left an impression on GM David Caldwell, too. Maybe a good enough of one that he will be a target on Day 3 for the Jaguars.

Knowing Khan, he already has Nike up in Oregon sewing the last letters on thousands and thousands of BRIDGEWATER jerseys...

JC is like some kids that I know. They will say something and everyone will go "what?" And I would just say just ignore him he's always like that.

Half the board? Guess thats why the poll in the other thread shows 35 votes for TB and only 9 for johnny ego.
If that RV sales place wants Tebow in Jax bad enough to take out a billboard saying as much.....they should just HIRE him.

Goody....the cameras will have no trouble picking up those big hands as ego waves from the sideline in street clothes...the cute little antics that work in college are gonna get the gnome killed in the NFL. Maybe between now and the draft ego can learn how to read a d or take a snap from under center....but I doubt it.

Agree.  They haven't said so, I but it wouldn't surprise me if the McCown signing was intended to push Glennon without pressuring him.  Let him learn the new system (that McCown knows) as a backup and expect Glennon to be able to take over at some point... but not on an artificial timeline that so many unnecessarily impose.  Give him the time to prove whether or not he's part of the future, then draft a QB next year if you feel you need to.

Funny that the Vikings busted just about as badly or worse than we did the same year, but they don't get reamed for it like we do.

Quote:Child please. Most of the starters in the league don't have Gabbert's physical tools. I'll take the guy who may have the weaker arm and the smaller frame, but still makes big plays when the team needs him to over Chicken Little Gabbert every single day of the week.
Are you reading comprehension skills that low?  I'm not hyping Gabbert.  I'm pointing out that Bridgewater isn't worth the pick.

I remember the night of the draft some former player, I think it was Mark Schlereth from espn was hammering the vikings for drafting Christian Ponder. I mean he was calling him one of the worst QB's ever to be drafted. At the time I was wondering why and how he could be so critical of Ponder. If you remember Ponder had quite a following around these parts and many people wanted him as a Jag. Any ways it's funny to remember that now and think that dude was dead on, for some reason he knew it. However he didn't say a peep about Gabbert. I think Gabbert had a lot of people fooled. Until it was time to play. I think Ponder showed a few more flashes here and there and that's why he was given a little slack by some.

Dont worry, hes pretty good at taking what you say and twisting it so he has something to complain about.

Some of the hype for Ponder was by FSU fans, but the real driving force behind it in Jacksonville was Prisco. He was infatuated with Ponder. Gushed about him on the radio every day.

I dont think Teddy should be completely judged on his Pro Day and if teams do and he falls, the teams that drafts him will be ecstatic.  However it did bring up some red flags and showed like most said he does have his flaws.

I still dont get why he wouldnt have worn the gloves since he wore them all year, makes me wonder if NFL circles questioned this and thats why he took them off
