No?

Yeah, me either, but here it is

Luke Fortner seems like he never knows what the the guards' assignments are on any given play. Leaving guys unblocked for someone else who isn't supposed to be there.  Just block the [BLEEP] guy in front of you every now and then, Luke. Sheesh.

Good gravy I lost count of how many times I screamed "put a hat on a hat" at the replays of our interior line just letting guys through while they redirected to some other assignment. You got to at least inhibit the guy across from you before you release.

Even a trunstile puts up SOME resistance...sheesh

Anton!

Two blocks there. If he gets that third block it's a TD for Strange. Not sure if he's allowed to do that though at that point. I really liked that whole play design from start to finish.

Had everybody flowing left with the play pulling back to the right. Worked early. They started catching up a bit late in the game to that same kind of action it looked like defensively.

He made a great play on the wildcat touchdown, remembered me of Jason Kelce LOL. He just need to cut those other 100 bad plays he makes

BTW, watch Tugboat come back and be the gel that get this line together

Tugboat was initially listed as Scherff's back up... any word on how he is doing. I haven't seen anything.

They played great but Trevor also had his fastest time to throw of the year I think. The gameplan was to get it out quick.

Also helps that the defense was stuck on the field for the majority of the 2nd half.

Yes - they really didn't want to take chances with the knee, lots of quick release stuff,  which is funny because Trevor took of and ran 5 or 6 times, LOL.

Even if they only blocked for 1.5-2.0 seconds most of the passing snaps, at least they got it done on a short week and banged up RG and backup LG.

Credit where it is due.

Take the ball away from Fortner and move him right or left.

Yes -to the right - about 35 yards. There's a cozy little bench over there for him.

He played right guard for four years. I think you have to consider a move at some point.

I would take Cooper Beebe to play left guard or Sendrick Van Pran to play center on the opening night of the draft.

LG and Center continue to be the bane of our OL woes.

Good to know the pff guys and/or girls graded Trevor Lawrence with a 60.0 RBLK. They should give McManus a pass blocking grade, I’d like to see what it is.

What is wrong with giving a QB a run block grade? Do they not participate in run plays after the handoff at times?

If they are going to grade every snap - they may as well be complete.

Right?  60 is their base grade anyways, so they're essentially saying he didn't do anything good or bad.  He probably didn't do anything at all, but they need to account for it on the plays where QBs do make or mess up run blocks/fits.

Congrats to Tyler Shatley on becoming the teams all time iron man!
Respect the game.  Play with a sense of urgency.

1.)  Take care of the ball.  Win the turnover battle.

2.)  It's all about 3rd down.  Win on 3rd down to win the game.

3.) Playmakers make plays.  The only reason that you put your uniform on is to make plays. In order to EARN your paycheck, you must make plays.

Learn from the great collapse of 2023.
