November is upon us, y'all!
Hopefully you fared better last week than I did, a 1-3 week took all the wind out of my sails....feel like a 49er fan! I *was* doing well, but now flirt with .500 at 14-11. The good guys get a bye, the bad guys get a short week, oh and TRADES! Let's see what we got: tacks @ PIT: The Jags put a hurtin' on Kenny Pickett, and Will Levis looked like a seasoned pro in his debut. Short week to prepare and recuperate. Does Levis keep the hot start rolling? Is it Mitch Tuddies time in PIT? Hopefully the Stiller fans get a better ref crew this week to boo. indynoplace @ CAR: So Bryce Young seems to be gradually improving, it will be interesting to see what happens if he gets some targets to play with in the future. Minshew ain't the volume chucker that Andy Luck once was. Bucs @ HOU: CJ Stroud coming back down to earth, Mayfield instills fear in no one. Good luck. Anything goes this week. I'll try to distance myself from mediocrity with the following picks: tacks 24 PIT 17: The short week hurts Pittsburgh in a few aspects - Pickett is not fully recovered and the lack of time to thoroughly study Levis allows the tacks to sneak outta town with a cheap win. indy 25 CAR 20: If indy can make this game a shootout, they should cruise to a win. Buckner frustrates Young into some rookie mistakes. I can't figure out either of these teams, though, if we're being honest. Bucs 19 HOU 17: Speaking of teams that make no sense...Just huck the ball deep, Baker. Evans will get under it most every time. Stroud is gradually working his way out of his funk, but runs out of time. Bucs in a snoozer.
Man this is a bad week. ESPN give the tinhorns and the tacks borderline coin flip game odds. Not that I only go off them but they usually have a decent gauge on odds.
Overall 15-8 This week: Pitt Tinhorns clots First time in a while I like the jags odds vs bye lol
