On special nights here in G'ville some bars will dish out Jack Daniels and Jim Beam for $2 a shot. Definitely worth it even though I'm not much of a bourbon drinker.

Two buck Tuesdays are a staple around here. That can get ugly though.

I prefer the two dollar off special on craft beers. Those are fun...you get to try a lot of new and interesting stuff. I've become a lover of Belgian Trippels

If you're ever in Richmond, go find a place called MeKong. It's a Vietnamese place, but their calling card is their insane beer selection, and the owner loves him some Belgian beer. Go for the food, stay for the brew.

So early Friday morning myself and three buddies are all headed to Kentucky for riding around in a limousine and visiting distilleries. As of now, we're going to hit up Buffalo Trace and Woodford Reserve on the way in after a few hours' stop at a casino. Hit downtown Louisville Friday night then get chauffeured to Jim Beam, Maker's Mark, and Heaven Hill on Saturday.

 

So excited for this trip!
