Here's who you blame: that piss poor defense who made a 3rd string QB look like Joe Montana. Offense is never put in the position to have to pass to win if the D even holds them to half of the points they eventually gave up. The D was a colossal failure tonite.

Yeah the defense was absolutely pathetic. Worst night to be a jags fan in as long as I can remember. Josh and Travon are the only two who came to play on D last night. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Fix the O-Line!

It’s not Parker Washingtons fault. It was a freak accident. It’s not Parker Washingtons fault. Agreed. Hate to say it. But, between the toe injury in Detroit last year, followed by the knee injury at home earlier this year, and now last night's injury? Trevor's going to have to learn how to be more self aware out there going forward and he's going to have to protect himself to the best of his abilities. He's unfortunately married to this current situation with the poor line play up front. That entire unit, from left to right, it's pretty weak overall. They don't get off their blocks good enough. They don't push back strong enough. They're really sloppy to watch. The number one goal, starting in March, is, improve the offensive and defensive line across the board. Don't care if it's mostly done via free agency or via the draft or a combination of both, but, the inability to effect the pocket from the interior on defense and the inability to consistently set the tone and dictate the terms on offense is frustrating to watch. Lawrence really deserves more credit from the local and national media. I know most fans see this on a weekly basis. Hell, even last night, he was on pace to have his fastest release per play from what Aikman was saying. So, we'll see. Not all's lost yet of course. If he comes back I think it'll be towards the tail end of the season anyway. Hoping for a week 16, week 17 return with maybe this team sitting at a 10 win record and his return could be the difference between winning the division in a game or two or at least ensuring a better seeding in the play off's. Based on how this team plays on the road though Vs. at home? It's almost like it's better if they DON'T get any homefield advantages here if I am being completely honest. I'll take the wins on the road Vs. the heartbreaks at home. "What do I know of cultured ways, the gilt, the craft and the lie? I, who was born in a naked land and bred in the open sky. Tony Boselli on the radio saying Walker Little injured his hamstring on the snap before Trevor Lawrence was injured. He says that is what allowed Little to be pushed backwards and step on Lawrence’s foot.

Not sure if Baalke is here next year or not but his, or, whoever it is, the first four selections need to be for the offensive and defensive line. Take the best OG/C/T/Swing T/G or Swing G/C Take the best DE/NT/DT/Swing DE/DT Also need to figure out a way to sign one of the best two, three Centers available. I hate to say it - but Walker little has not shown he’s durable enough to be counted on as a long term answer.
Hurt in college Hurt in his young nfl career Not good signs

if jags don't call up rourke, and start him seasons done,we won't win another game. Trevor isn't a franchise qb injuryed or not, and Bearthead can't win games. Rourke is the true Jags franchise qb. no one wanted to belieave me about minshew, look what hes done for colts a starter.

Someone call the EMS for Wolfie, hes fallen and banged his head. You're going to be in concussion protocol now. What a spicy dump of a bad take here. "What do I know of cultured ways, the gilt, the craft and the lie? I, who was born in a naked land and bred in the open sky. Lawrence has 900 yards 9 touchdowns to 1 INT over the last 3 games and he's done that be behind a bottom 5 line, a run game that hasn't been productive, and with a "number 1" WR who can't catch the ball when it hits him in the hands. Rourke is a nobody who could maybe be a back up some day, we live in a world where Zach Wilson was a starting QB for part of the season and QBs have dropped like flies yet Rourke is still on our practice squad. It still ruins his game though as a passer. The mobility is important to his abilities. We saw it as his knee improved. Now, we're probably back to [BLEEP] square one and not pushing the ball downfield as much. I am confident that his MRI will be relatively clean. I think we'll see him by week 16 at the minimum. To finish out the last two games on the year to wrap up the divisional title maybe or at least secure a higher seeding if needed. Tough to say. Just disappointed in the defense more than anything last night. I think they had to show out and show up there in crunch time. They didn't get it done. Was it bad enough to come out of the game? Maybe, but we all know that in this league if you don't try to play through injury, you'll soon be out of work. It was an all out rush by the defender and a freak accident. I'll agree that we need line help, but to say this was on some failed darfting or scouting is just hogwash. I would be keenly interested to see the list of linemen who play significant minutes each week who have avoided injury. I doubt I'll have to block out much time to review the list, though. Maybe, just maybe they will take the development of both lines as a priority.
