With limited practice...Agreed; early in the season the defense was playing lights out (with a couple of exceptions), but now it seems to have been somewhat exposed. On the surface, yeah, those numbers should be enough. Looking past the boxscore though, you should remember that for our first two scores our defense put our offense on the Cleveland 12 and 25 yard lines off of turnovers and should receive some credit for the 14 points that came from those. We were at risk of getting blown out prior to those two big turnovers produced by the defense. I would say that if you get two turnovers deep in the opponents territory, you should win the vast majority of those games. There are several reasons we didn't win, however. There are a handful of plays on either side of the ball that if they get negated in some way could have changed the outcome of the game, but that's true for most games. Back on track to Trevor...
Bro literally logged a FP in practice today, not even limited.
IT WAS ALWAYS THE JAGS
I love Trevor, but I can't believe 50 starts into his career he will still throw short of the end zone with no times out and only seconds on the clock at the end of a half.
In a game full of boneheaded decisions that one was pretty unforgivable.
This is not how an elite plays. The amount of bone headed plays and inaccurate passes is too much.

He’s definitely a good QB but he’s got to find a way to become elite or this team is doomed again We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!
If Press Taylor continues to be the OC, Trevor Lawrence will be a mediocre QB that will never get us to a SB.
That's just how it is. It's not Trevor's fault that the coaching philosophy is trash. But a young QB isn't going to overcome bad coaching. And we're witnessing that right now.

With a good talent around him he'd look elite, but with Baalke picking players we'll never be better than a wildcard type team now that the texans have a coach and QB. Trevor and Pedersen made the team look good, but the team needs an overall increase in talent.
Are there really people out there that still think this guy is a generational talent? Dude is not even the best QB in the division. TBF Stroud might be the one who is generational talent though.
Seems like I was right, Trevor is a Kirk Cousins at best, just a bit better in the playoffs... maybe.

I'm back where I was last year, questioning whether Trevor is the answer. How can he not hang onto the ball?

Trevor Lawrence isn't the problem, guys.
This coaching scheme is the problem. How can you watch this team play, with all the talent we have and see how ineffective we are. We're watching a coaching staff that is absolutely [BLEEP] the bed.

Is TL the problem? Nope.
- The WRs! - The o-line! - The OC! - The defense! It’s everyone’s fault EXCEPT for the single most important player on the field. He’s a rock star. Super cool. But everyone around him sucks. At this point, who would not sign over two children for the Jags to get 2022’s Mr Irrelevant? Yeah it was sad when he scored 25+ points and his defense did nothing. Generational players should be able to posses other players and make them play better and I'm yet to see that from Lawrence. If you even try to defend the playcall after today you need to stop commenting on football cause you know nothing. What QB can consistently over come a defense allowing 25+ points. Mahomes is the best QB right now and may end up the best of all time and he can't overcome a middle of the pack oline and bad WR and be has a top 5 defense. But sure Lawrence needs to overcome more then Mahomes can and two leg injuries and if he doesn't then we should just cut his pathetic [BLEEP].
