Browns not going to Manziel Pro day, didnt talk to him at the combine

#1

Browns will not attend Johnny Manziels Pro day and didnt talk to him at the combine, is this really a smoke screen, that would be too obvious right, or do they just dont have any interest in him and would rather spend time scouting guys they really want.

They say they wont attend his pro day because it will conflict with something else they plan on doing

They'll bring him in for a private workout.

If I recall correctly the Bills didn't go to EJ Manuel's pro day or talk to him at the combine. They did however bring him in to a private workout.

Yea but you can hide not showing interest in EJ, I just dont see the point in hiding it for Manziel eveybody is watching

Browns don't want him = draft him.

If they don't have a personal workout with him I would guess he is off their board. There is no way a team would pick a QB in the first without ever talking to him. It is the browns though so who knows.

Yeah none of this means anything.

I'm pretty sure they'll have some sort of interview/workout with him.

He'll be gone before they pick so why bother?

All this proves is that the Browns love Booziel, and intend to reach for him at 26.

Farmer said today that he nor any of his staff are going to any QB pro days. He doesn't like how scripted they are and they don't tell him anything. He will have private workouts with all of them.

He's got a point.

I'm no expert, but watching pro days leaves me scratching my head.

Am I supposed to be impressed that these guys are completing mostly routine passes to wide open receivers?

For instance, Blake Bortles completed most of his passes, but they were almost all relatively easy.  The few deep bombs he tried to hit he missed, so I'm not sure how they can come back saying he was "outstanding"..  Idk, I guess I just don't see what they see.
