I wish that Trevor was the type of QB that willed his teams to wins in dire straits. Montana, Marino, Elway, Brady, Manning, Favre, Mahomes. I want him to be elite and carry this team. But right now he just looks like a good QB that only truly excels if the team around him is pristine.

Would you currently give him a $150-200 million dollar contract? I would not. He has potential but also very inconsistent.

If you don't sign him, you have to find another QB without a top pick and good QBs don't usually hit FA. Sent from my SM-T970 using Tapatalk We show less advertisements to registered users. Trevor has to protect the ball better when he is moving. A qb cant be fumbling this much.
Yes, it's improvement, but it's Blaine Gabbert 2012 level improvement. - Pirkster The Home Hypnotist! Media on the Brain Link! Quote:Peyton must store oxygen in that forehead of his. No way I'd still be alive after all that choking.

You can't will what doesn't have the ability to be willed. I honestly don't believe there's a single QB in the NFL that could cover for all the flaws this team has. The clown show continues even post game... This entire team is a mess at the worst possible time.
I don't think all are problems are on one thing and I think Trevor is just trying to do too much at times maybe pressuring himself. Our issues have been there all year our lines don't win at the point of attack no consistent run game and play calling puts us behind on 2nd down a lot, drops, turnovers etc. Changes need to happen but we gotta roll with what they have this year and try to make the playoffs still. Trevor is still the guy imo.
No Fun

Right now it would be time to start the scouting process. I have not seen enough to bet the house on Trevor.(12-18-2023, 01:06 AM)OG-JAGFAN Wrote: Would you currently give him a $150-200 million dollar contract? I would not. If that concussion happened at the goalline when TL called a change, no one could hear him and TL says, "Just snap it" only to be swamped by a line confused about the assignments getting shouted out... Yeah, Wingard's fault.

No because he is struggling to do that now with below average WRs, middle of the pack oline, a top 5 HC and top 5 defense. We show less advertisements to registered users. Commentator even mentioned he missed open guys they even showed some replays but maybe hes getting gun shy from the protection idk. I just know Stroud looked much better today. Exactly I feel like everything has to be perfect right now for our O to succeed every play it's too much.

The vast majority on this board think he's already elite. What are you? A hater? |
