Yeah that whole situation is so bad. Endless gambling adverts, most of the talking head sports show give betting advice, constantly told what Vegas think will happen (and happens way too much) but then suspend players for a season for gambling.

The game was fixed was a fans way of venting a L, now it feels like it may be true. And it's the same old teams on the good and bad side.

To run block effectively you have to focus on run blocking.

Defenses don't really have to scheme to stop our run, which is why it's difficult for our QBs to consistently move the ball.  Teams scheme to stop our pass, and can still stop our run.

The OLine doesn't know run blocking schemes and Fortner (as Baselli and Big Searc have said) isn't a run blocking center.   He's not strong enough and he plays HIGH, not low.

Until Doug P. decides that the interior OLine needs to be more than just SMART (Fortner) the Jags are going to be stuck with an average to below average run blocking OLINE.
