There's atleast TWO times where he stepped on Trevors ankles due to poor footwork and not enough strength. He is a solid backup swing tackle at best, and if coaching staff decides he is more than that then we will hear more of you whiny homers on here how our OLine sucks and how good Trevor could be if he had a good line. There’s a reason he couldn’t beat Cam out.

There's $16 million reasons why he couldn't beat Cam out. The rest is nonsense, he graded out fine for an inexpensive left tackle. Had they not moved him to guard he would've been our best lineman all year instead of being hurt by their stubborness to use PEDSRob. I said before the season he had no business at guard, he's the best left tackle on the team and should've been the starter there all year. That's on every damn team in the league. They all do this. Cam was given too much leeway IMO - but that's normal. 

2. And more importantly - if Little and Cam were viewed as 2 of the better linemen they are going to try and find a way to get "the best 5 on the field" 
There's a reason you see that quotation ^ used by coaches everywhere. It is a tried and true practice. Cam can only play one spot - and Little was thought to have range to move to guard - so they tried it. It totally [BLEEP] failed but they tried what most other coaching staffs would have tried in order to field the best line they could with what was available. 

3. If Doug is dumb about anything in all of this it was doubling down on a bad 2022 line and doubling down on a finesse run scheme - leaving himself short of players who can just beat the guy across from them for a yard when they need it.

But would any of these guys make sense for the Jags?

Given their guaranteed money would already be paid for, it could be a better way to use up the later round picks that Baalke apparently can't hit on anyways.

The more I watch this guy the more I think of Kelce lol. He has a nastiness that we lack, I would not be mad if we traded back and picked him in the first round 20-30.

I wouldn't rule him out with the 17th overall selection if he's being this highly touted. Good chance he won't be there in RD2 now if he begins testing extremely well and once the interviews start taking place there's always a good chance a team falls in love with him personality wise and football IQ wise. 

Baltimore selected Linderbaum 25th overall in 2022. New Orleans selected Ruiz 24th overall in 2020. Minnesota selected Bradbury 18th overall in 2019. Detroit took Ragnow with the 20th overall pick in 2018. 

I don't think you can rule out this kid with the 17th overall pick. It's clearly the biggest need on the roster, it's an obvious weakness we have had to stomach for two years in a row with Fortner. Unless they sign a guy up in March? I just don't think you can rule this out as a possibility. 

Especially if this team is serious about rebounding offensively. As much as I would like a WR there or maybe a premier RT/LT, the odds also dwindle as those guys also begin to test out at the combine and they have their interviews. 

I would be split between this kid, Brian Thomas Jr. at WR and Fauga at RT if they're on the board. Really just boils down to March and free agency for me.
