After Teddy's bad pro day some people on here were saying pro day means nothing.  I think Manziel's pro day is huge for his draft stock.

As much as I hate Manziel, I can't argue with this. Lots of Teddy Bears on here who were brushing off Bridgewater's shaky pro day will be railing on Manziel if he has a bad one.

 

I tend to think that pro days mean a lot less to teams than they do to the media.

This is also very true. The day is setting up to be something pretty big either way. What with the former president there, presumably comes with added security(and even secret service detail?). Jaguars message-boards may seem very divided on him, but Manziel appears to still be the most popular no-pro athlete in the nation at this point.

This would seem like a big deal but as former student at Texas A&M it really is not.

 

President George H. W. Bush lives in College Station. His presidential library is there. He and his wife walk their dog around campus. I know I met him and his wife a number of times just going to class or as part of a number of clubs and events that happened on campus.

 

Just thought you all should know.

For some, maybe.  Guys throwing in shorts to people they already know on a rehearsed workout really shouldn't even be in conversation with game footage for evaluation purposes.  If Manziel does well, great for him.  We already know who he is.  If Manziel does terribly, too bad.  We already know who he is.

 

This was my stance with Teddy, and even though I'm a Teddy fan, it's the same stance I'm taking with Johnny (and Bortles).

 

I wonder if the criticisms from the people who are still railing Bridgewater for his will be consistent if Johnny does less than "good," though.
