Mevis out of Missouri and Reichard from Bama. Both had good college careers.

Mevis has an awesome leg but is wildly inconsistent. Misses gimmes at times.

Started looking at WR prospects finally. Put me in the Odunze fan camp. I like him better than Nabers and on par with Harrison at the moment, though I need to watch more of both. I will say when watching highlights, one foot in bounds catches are not highlights for me because it would not count in the pros. Wide open catches are probably not highlights either because many times it's a busted coverage though it could be a reflection of the player's speed and route running. I like to see contested catches more than anything and speed and body control as well. I walk away from many highlight reels either more impressed with another player or the offensive line or what have you.

I watch prospect interviews as well because I feel like I'm better than most at reading people or picking up cues. I do this because I play in more than one deep dynasty football league and I look for anyway I can to get an edge. It's not the main thing I focus on, but it can break ties between players or move them down a notch if I don't like how they interview. I pegged Quentin Johntson last year as a concern due to interviews I watched of him. I feel somewhat vindicated in that assessment at least after year 1, though I know the book on a player's career isn't written after 1 year. I have similar concerns about Nabers, though not to the same extent as I had with Johnston. I don't think Nabers interviews well and it could be he's just an introvert (which so am I somewhat) or it could be that he's not 100% a professional and might have other things he's focused on. Either way, I liked Odunze's highlights better than Nabers' anyway.

There’s every chance based on last nights chargers trade that the first 6/7 picks all 3 of the top wrs are gone

Traded with Tampa Bay. I really like this haul personally. [Image: c473d364d46f5eec358bc2eec1a5b742.jpg]

I'd rather stay at 17 and get a true number 1 corner.  Rakestraw wasn't very good in man coverage and had a poor ras and is slow for a corner wr.   Doesn't seem like a good fit for what Nielsen wants to do. Love the Sweat pick but seems bit high for Coleman as well

If no more significant moves are made in free agency, this would be my draft wish list:

Round 1:

Cornerbacks: Mitchell/Wiggins/Arnold

Edge: Latu/Verse/Turner

Round 2:

T'Vondre Sweat: Line him up next to Armstead and watch out!

Coleman/Mitchell/McConkey/Leggett/Franklin: Better value than taking Thomas in round 1

Tampa/Rakestraw: If they don't take corner in round 1.

Round 3:

IOL: Mahogany/Zinter

Edge: Jonah Ellis, Kneeland

Receiver: Pearsall/Corley

DT: McKinley Jackson (if don't get Sweat)

CB: Khyree Jackson/Kalen King

You ain't getting Pearsall at pick 96 bro lol.  We would be lucky if he fell to 48.  DJ has him as his 39th player on his board.  I wish.  Was consistent at Florida with pretty poor QB play thoughout his time there.  He's a very good route runner with really good hands and speed.  He just killed the combine to match the tape.  He was 95 percentile in the shuttle and 98 percentile in the 3 cone on top of his 4.41 40 and having good size.  I'd love it if he made it to 48

Ha! That's why they call a wish listSmile.  I can't disagree with you. The same can likely be said about Latu, Verse and Turner in round 1 as well as Mitchell, Coleman and McConkey in round 2.

So traded back in simulator to the 29th pick in the first.

29. Keon Coleman FSU
48 Cooper Beebe K State
61 Max Melton Rutgers
96 Michael Hall Jr Ohio State
114 Khyree Jackson - Oregon
116 Christian Mahogony Boston College
The Other Jag Forum: Duval Football Fans.

Brandon Scherff is no longer that dude.   Next season I want him gone.

Had to edit. I posted a simulated mock draft in the wrong thread.

I'm an FSU guy. I wish somehow Verse lands at 17. I find it unlikely he makes it.

If there’s an obvious BAP, I’m in favor of going with that. Free Agency= fills the holes Draft=BAP

1st- Best available player here in order(I'd also trade up for Bowers if he slips to the early teens):

BTJ WR- I think he's a top10 pick though(CHI)

Verse DE-Likely top10 as well

Fuaga OT- Backup RG/RT. Takes over RT next year

JPJ OC- Tough pick to make but Morse likely a stop gap

Fautanu LG- Less likely considering the re-signing of Cleveland

Mitchell CB- Very likely he's there at our pick

DeJean S-Here's where it gets interesting. If we do a swap of first rounders with the 49ers for Ayuik, this would be an interesting piece for the new defensive scheme. Mind you the 49ers are in a pinch and a swap of firsts is more than fair

2nd- I'd pencil in a DT here every mock. So whoever falls here: Newton, Murphy, Sweat, Jenkins

Honorable Mentions:

D. Robinson DE- More than likely not there at 48

Rakestraw CB- Number two CB overall. I like the CBs next season better

Legette WR- Legette next after BTJ

3rd - Best available OL: Bortolini, Coleman, Zinter, Cohen

Honorable Mentions:

Jackson DT

J.Jones CB

J.Baker WR

My late round flyer pick is Tyrone Tracy RB- raw prospect but has that Fred Taylor burst

Maurice Jones Drew top backs

1. Trey Benson - Florida State
A two-time second-team All-ACC selection, Benson has the potential to be a reliable three-down back in the league. He runs the gap scheme very well, has good patience and vision, and possesses great speed, as he posted the third-fastest 40-yard dash (4.39 seconds) among running backs at the 2024 NFL Scouting Combine. As a receiver, he does well when having to adjust to the ball and is adequate in pass protection. He's a nice player with an ideal body type who can carve out a solid career in the right system.

2. Will Shipley - Clemson
Shipley is a versatile player with the ability to contribute at the next level as a runner, pass catcher and returner. He has great vision, makes sharp cuts and gets to his top speed quickly. He's also a shifty route runner who creates separation out of his breaks. Right now, the Clemson product has the goods to be a solid RB2, but he could develop into a three-down back down the road.

9.61 #RAS score. Ranked 71 out of 1775 RB from 1987 to 2024
Height: 5-11 (57%*) Weight: 206 (30%*)
Hands: 9 5/8 (71%*) Arm: 30 1/4 (33%*)
Forty: 4.39 (P) (93%*) Shuttle: 4.11 (P) (85%*)
Vertical: 38.5 (P) (90%*) Broad: 122 (P) (74%*)

3. Blake Corum - Michigan
The two-time Big Ten Conference Running Back of the Year is compact but packs a punch. Checking in at 5-foot-7 3/4 and 205 pounds, Corum is a strong runner with above-average contact balance who thrives as a short-yardage back. He led the FBS with 27 rushing touchdowns (also a school record) in 2023, and of his last 45 rush TDs at Michigan, only 12 went for more than 5 yards. He wasn't used much as a pass catcher, but could certainly be an asset out of the backfield in the NFL.

4. Frank Gore Jr. - Southern Mississippi
The son of future Hall of Fame running back Frank Gore is a tough, every-down runner who routinely makes the first guy miss. He displayed his good vision and quickness during his Offensive MVP performance at the East-West Shrine Bowl (six carries, 87 yards, one TD), and he has the ability to contribute in the pass game as a solid route runner with good hands.

5. Jaylen Wright - Tennessee
Wright, who models his game after fellow Tennessee alum Alvin Kamara, is an explosive runner with breakaway speed at the second level. He logged a run of at least 10 yards on more than 25 percent of his carries in 2023, showcasing prolific big-play ability. With pass-catching talent to pair with his linear running style, Wright has a real chance to one day be an NFL starter.

Wright is my sleeper/surprise darft pick. We brought in the RB coach from UT, so I have a feeling he's going to heap high praise on his guy. I wouldn't mind it if he is there in the 4th or so.

Very fitting for the OL guy to be there. Just looking to see if Baalke can pull off an injury special selection in Zinter more than likely.

I've been looking at mid-round defensive linemen that last day or so. One guy I'd love to see in teal is Justin Eboigbe, DE from Alabama. He's the size of Travon Walker at 6'5" and 290lbs, but doesn't have Walker's speed. What he does have though is enormous strength and savvy. As a 5th year senior he play 600 snaps and tallied 7 sacks. He's an anchor on the end of the line with the versatility to play any down position and strength to take on the interior double teams. He'll never be a 15 sack guy, but as 4th round pick he would be a younger, better Smoot for this team. He's projecting as the 124th best player in the draft, so late 3rd to early 5th round is about right and those 2 picks in the 4th would be ideal.
