Closer to Taven Bryan than he is Chris Jones.

Hope he can prove me wrong.

Bryan had 32.75" arms.  Jones and Smith have 35" arms

Same. I would have went OL or CB there and targeted Gabe Hall out of Baylor later on that can do what Smith couldnt do and is the same size as Armstead.

We have only just started day 2 and baalke has royally pissed me off

I hate the pick because he's not a top 5 DT prospect and Jags need OL. I don't understand passing on OL

I would have gone Frazier, Hall Jr or Haynes.

But Maason Smith is Baalke built.

Whatever. BRIAN THOMAS JRRRRRRR

Our war room looks like a family reunion gone wrong. Like an actual war took place in the room.

They panicked because a run at DT happened after Newton came off followed by Sweat and Fiske.

The talent starts to drop at DT fast here soon...

Yeah, I'd like to know why they valued Smith higher than some of the other prospects like Jenkins/etc. I really want us to move back into the 2nd round/early 3rd if Beebe is present.

As much as I love the BTJ pick, we can't potentially torch our 2nd round pick with an iffy prospect. We need all of the starters we can get to make an impact on the field for our team.

Disappointed that the clots chose Adonai there...

Preaching to the choir but I don’t really know much about him so I’ll let it play out.

I wanted this draft to be offensive heavy. WR and OL. If they use 98 and one of the 4ths on the OL, I’m ok.

And maybe trade for Lattimore at CB

The one DT i didnt like and they pick him. Wouldnt have touched this guy before round 4.
Hopefully i am totally wrong on him but there were far better players on the board.

Well, prove me wrong Mason, i will be happy to admit that.

Like last year loved the 1st round process and pick, hating process and pick of the second day so far

Hey the Browns get to pick now.

That pick has baalke written all over it. Injured guy with upside.

Feels like this is a draft where players we may have wanted were grabbed in front us. Hence the trade down in round 1 and reaching for dt after a bunch of them just got drafted.

The M. Smith pick is the ultimate risk/reward. No doubt, Matt House- his defensive coordinator at LSU and current linebacker coach thinks very highly of Smith. His upside is incredibly high as DT with traits like his are very rare. Interesting fact is that his mother is a physician and dad owns some oil company. Not sure if that is good or bad. He definitely was taught the importance of work ethic, but he doesn't need the money if things start going South!

Yeah the next couple of picks should have to be OL and CB imo.

But if we can trade for a guy like Lattimore and it not cost an arm and a leg, by all means lets go for an All-Pro CB in addition to a cheaper/youthful corner through the draft - especially with Tyson coming up for his next contract.

That 2023 draft is sickening with how many selections were made.

Would much prefer packaging up extraneous draft picks to move up in the draft to select a higher-rated player. Roster space is limited and a bunch of those late round selections wouldn't even make the league in 2 years.
