***2024 NFL Draft Rounds 2-3***

We gotta do something aggressive here. This is an Alualu kind of draft so far just a snooze fest.

What a luxury for him and the Jags

Good point. It's like Calais helping Josh Allen which can only be good.

As much as I love the BTJ pick, we can't potentially torch our 2nd round pick with an iffy prospect. We need all of the starters we can get to make an impact on the field for our team.

Disappointed that the clots chose Adonai there...

Beebe arms are way to short for Baalke.  He's probably not even on our board

If only he had small hands…

They committed to fixing their issues. Rams took Verse and Fiske on DL. Steelers took Fuaga and Frazier on OL. Eagles stole Mitchell and DeJean at CB.

They need to start moving up. 96, 114 and 116. Package up and get an OG.

Draft is too deep through four to do that.  We need can and two ol with those three picks.
Nope. Maybe intitially but the run is fixing to start at OL. They need to get back in while the gettin' is hot.

They caught the tail end of DT. Shouldn't make that mistake again. Same for CB. You have to come up inside the 100's to get one.

Baalke will claim he tried to move up but nobody would bite. That's a sorry excuse- give up a little more than you want to get a guy who will help the team. There are still very good players at both positions- go get one and then try to get another. I'd be very satisfied with a draft class of Thomas, Smith, Rakestraw/Tampa and Beebe/Bortelini/McCormick/Mahogany.

Yes. Quality, not quantity. If you need camp bodies, sign a bunch of college FAs.

Smith was probably the top DT on our bord.  Murphy and Newton were to short for Baalke

It's pretty amazing how the city of Detroit is resurrecting itself.

It’s not like Baalke completely sucks. But I look at the smart drafts from some of these other teams year after year and wonder what the Jags could be with an excellent GM.

I'm sorry but imo this was a disaster round 2

I would have preferred him to Smith in round 2. Not nearly as risky and the Jags can't afford to waste any top picks like last year. Smith does fill a need, however.

If Baalke can package 114 and 116 up to get a CB. Like Khyree Jackson, Kalen King or Jarron Jones.

Followed by getting an OG like Mason McCormick or Brandon Coleman at 96? I would be good for the rest of the draft.

We just need one more secondary and one more offensive lineman early in my opinion to ensure this team has depth.

Chief got their replacement for Taylor. He’s a project, though.

I guess Baalke cares about every measurable except hand size. Ha
