Refuse to acknowledged that and then add more stuff that are guarantees as well. lol, YOU are/ were wrong in citing Jennings. I don't see any "admitting" anything. I did not pay attention to Jennings signing. He was not great in Oakland. That is a surprise. However you been wrong many times and just sweep things under rug. I only wish i was as all knowing as you are.

What does it matter where they are picked. All that does is they play pro bowl level in NFL.

Quote:What does it matter where they are picked. All that does is they play pro bowl level in NFL. Because just because Ware turned out great doesn't mean Mack will too. Mack isn't good value at 3. Clowney is. Taking Mack ahead of a Clowney or Bridgewater would be savant-like stupid. Now, if the Jags instead trade down, accumulate more picks and then select Mack, that would be doing it the right way, and I won't have a problem with it. While I will admit I don't know much about Mack other than what I have read...but him being from a small school with only one real year of dominant play even though he played in just about every game at Buffalo...I will be honest and say that scares me...it would be different he was a major force every year...
He might end up being great...but IMO it is still a red flag... We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!

Yawn... just like all the vast majority of your failed and useless "predictions"...

Quote:his Junior year wasn't far off from his Senior year, and he improved each year at least from a statistical standpoint Statistcally speaking it looks like his SR year was way more dominant than his JR...but since his JR was so close to his SR year is he a top 3 pick last year? I am not going to say he is going to be great or horrible...but I am weary of picking a guy so high from a small school that was not dominate from start to finish...
Can someone please explain to me what attribute that Mack has, which they believe will transition to the NFL, makes him worth the #3 pick in the draft. Lesser competition will generally inflate a players stats, so we cannot just rely on them to give a true indication of his skill level.

He is able to bend around the edge and very flexible ankles only compounds his edge rushing. Combine that with his above average burst off the ball and good closing speed he is a very promising edge rusher. Good hand placement when rushing but could improve upon it in the run game. Has a decent counter move already but needs to become more efficient at it. Very good in coverage as well. There are many translatable skill sets, not to mention the fact he is an amazing athlete.

He has ok size, good length, great effort, very good hand use, great leverage, extremely fluid, he transfers his speed to power very effectively, he plays smart and disciplined, and he is comfortable in space. He isn't an size/athletic uberfreak like Mario/Peppers, but the comps to Von Miller and Demarcus Ware are fair.
Sure he is a duel threat in that he can drop back in coverage as well as play any DE spot. Also has great vision, great hands, And mopped the floor on several plays against Ohio State. With less of a supporting cast then Clowney has. Is extremely fast in game speed as far as first step. Can power through and has a wicked spin.
