Issue with adding reputation/liking a post

I've been trying to figure out how to add reputation to a post/poster that I like (via CPU Chrome/Firefox) for a long time. I finally figured out what the problem was, with the help of Caldrac. I had unchecked the "User CP > Edit Options > Display posts in classic mode." box apparently a long time ago. Once this is done the rate/thumb icon disappears from posts, and even clicking Reputation > Rate User doesn't work.
Once I rechecked it and refreshed the rate/thumb icon come back under each post. It's a small issue, but I did like the updated look on this message board. Thought I'd throw this out there in case some else has a similar problem, or if it can be fixed.
