I'm rooting for the Gators first, and Kentucky last.   I don't like the way Kentucky runs their program.   If Kentucky wins, I will bet there are a bunch of rule changes to prevent schools from hiring these mercenary, one-and-done NBA prospects that have no intention of going to school or getting a degree.

The new NBA commissioner has come out within the past week and said that 2 years in college is what he would like to get pushed through. We shall see.

I personally wouldn't want to play a team for the fourth time after beating them three times already. Especially, like you stated, against a team on a roll and with momentum now.

 

I would have to think UCONN sort of feels the same way right now having to play Florida again. Playing well, and not missing key pieces like the first go round.

You have to give it to Donovan with what he has been able to do with the basketball program at UF. He constantly gets lesser recruited guys and makes great teams out of them. This team is a prime example with only Hill and Walker looking like they could eventually be first rounders and they don't even get that much PT.


You could make a team of guys that Billy has produced and they could compete for a playoff spot in the NBA East.


PG - Calathes, J. Williams, Wilbekin

SG - Beal, Miller

SF - Parsons, Brewer

PF - Horford, Lee, Haslem

C - Noah, Speights, Bonner/Young


and then you will be able to add Hill, Walker, Frazier, and possibly Finney-Smith to that soon too.
