My god, Biden looked terrible.

I've done both early voting and mail-in. I like mail-in a bit more personally, and it is less expensive for the county.
But early voting is great. The lines are very short, the workers are not stressed, you can take your time at the booth, and it's super secure.
So if it would actually make my neighbors more confident in election results, I am perfectly willing to give up mail-in voting.

Here's the problem: I doubt your sincerity. I think if we eliminate mail-in voting to appease Trump, the next time a Trump Republican loses, they will complain about another voting issue, and it'll never end. Y'all are just mad your hero lost. None of you even understand how mail in voting works.

No here is the issue.  Our enemies really do not care who wins an election. All they want is for the loser and his supporters to feel cheated.  Now, how do we avoid this? That is what we should work on. Doubting the sincerity of another like you have been doing is playing into their hands and what they want.  Is that your intention?  Close up the areas that are ripe for abuse.  Install processes that are not easily bypassed. Then you can get on your high horse and whine about others.

Man your ability to read peoples minds after reading a post on a web page is astonishing!

Here is the thing, since Jan 6 is your favorite reason to hate republicans, it never happens if there isn’t an appearance of impropriety.  End of story.

Trump was willing to try anything to stay in office.  He would have come up with some other way to get people to doubt the election outcome.  It would have been easy for him because so many people believe literally anything he says.  He tweets something, and a small army of his hangers on will immediately help fabricate a backstory to support it.

I hope you mentally suffer for the next handful of years. I hope you wake up in the middle of the night, each night with terrors. That way you end up where you actually belong. In a sanitarium.

Your stupidity is deafening..

Read that second sentence again and get back to me.  End the appearance of impropriety and republicans would have accepted the results.  Since you are a self proclaimed republican you understand that right?  Unless….

You only thought the expansion of mail in voting was improper because Trump told you it was improper.
We have had mail in voting and electronic counting and electronic voter rolls for two decades! Including in 2016! And all of a sudden out of nowhere El Trumpo announces, before an election even finishes, that it's going to be a problem.
If you don't recognize that he will literally say anything to avoid admitting he lost, you are in thrall to him.  You are under his spell.  He could shoot a random unarmed man on 5th avenue and you would say, "good.  What a strong decisive man".  Don't take it from me! Trump himself said this about you in 2016!

I disagree with mail in ballots because it makes fraud easier.

I stopped reading your post at the emboldened part.  Again, I have served overseas.  I know what hoops I had to go through to cast my vote in 1984, 1985, 1986 and 1987.  Stop being a douche because you have no clue of how the military voted back then and what steps we had to go through to cast a vote.  We had to submit a form and request to vote in absentia.  Once approved we would receive a ballot that compared our signatures between the request and the actual ballot.  It also had to be postmarked before a certain date.  Can you tell me that those steps have been taken in recent years?  The same level of scrutiny?  Ballots were preprinted and sent out with no request in 2020 to registered voter addresses, multiple times by many accounts, and all because of “covid”.  Stop projecting your feelings and thoughts on anyone that challenges your world view because I know for certain that had the appearance of impropriety been removed for the 2020 election there would have been no problem with the results of that election.

Um, respectfully, I said mass mail in voting started two decades ago, and 1984 was 4 decades ago.  So you're mad, but you didn't actually disagree with me.

Typical Republican argument:  We are going to Seal up the Border, Have mass deportations forcing these American companies to hire more Americans instead of the cheaper immigrant labor, We are going to bring Law and Order with being much more strict on the Law, We are going to focus ON Helping Americans out.  We are not against Immigration but we are against Unregulated and Uncontrolled Regulation.  The bottom line is if you tried to hop over their  Borders where some of these immigrants come from, you are getting shot with no questions asked.  We are getting back to common sense. Put Americans First, Forget the Pronoun/Gender insane group, and lets get back to good old fashion common sense.

Typical Democrat Argument:  Trump is Evil, Trump will be a Dictator, Trump will end Democracy, Trump will be a king, blah blah blah.  They only have scare tactics and cannot stand on their policies that have shafted the average American Working man.

And no I am not mad.  I am angered.  You continue to post crap that you know nothing about as if you were an expert.  You draw false equivalency as if it were fact.  So tell me did everyone receiving a ballot in 2020 have to go through the scrutiny that I did when I as serving?

I was born in one of the years you mentioned.
If you want to tell a roughly 40 year old man he's not old enough to understand something, you do you.

I am not saying anything about the 2020 election was the same as military voting in 1984.  But neither was 2016, 2012, 2008, or 2004.  In all of those elections, there was no excuse mail in voting in most states.

I don't know how the security compared to 1980s military voting.  But I do know there was no big stink about it!

I was chemically made in an empty Big Gulp cup left from the DNA of Mitch McConnell and Liz Cheney in one of the years you mentioned.

It is a simple question, was there the same scrutiny in 2020 as myself and everyone serving in the 80’s?  Yes or no?
