I've been watching a lot of those Dave Portnoy pizza reviews.  And now I have this unending desire for pizza.

"One bite, everybody knows the rules."  It's surprising how entertaining those videos are.

He did a review here for Biggie's Pizza and then somehow ended up at a Chuck E' Cheese around here again to review pizza. Made me pretty depressed about our options here. LOL. I do dig their Gambino and Mama's Slice there though. Pretty good when you're hammered at 11:30 PM and need something good to keep the liquor down.

I still think Mellow Mushroom has the best pizza in town here. Especially the location over from 3rd street out on the beach. As far as bang for your buck though? Would have to lean towards 5 Star Pizza. If you like spicy stuff? They DO NOT skimp out on their Buffalo Chicken Pizza. That [BLEEP] thing is SPICY.

I’m assuming it’s still there since I’ve been gone for four years…but I always loved the Moon Dog Pie House just across the bridge to Fruit Cove.

Yep, it’s open.

Quirky little place with interesting decor and there are several specialty pies that are great.  Pretty reasonable beer prices for a restaurant too.

I stopped at my favorite new local spot in town which is fortunately (or maybe unfortunately) five minutes from my house.  Their menu consists of nine flavors of frozen margaritas, sodas, chips, and hot dogs.  Occasionally they’ll have a food truck pull up out front.  Decor is a large metal building with astroturf and lawn chairs.  It’s all I need.

What a concept.  I dig it.

Mr. Froze Margaritas.

No. I haven't. Funny you brought that up because I was just thinking about them yesterday and looked to see around here. Hope all's well.

Same for Bullseye.

Pretty sure I read in a post that Drifter had a bunch of work going on recently. 6 months of paperwork needs redone or something to those lines.

I did a quick search and I have no clue where I read it. Think I was hitting the pen at the time, so who knows lol

Looks like weather is going to affect you guys then head my way. Not liking the amount of rain we might get here. We live in the Sandhills area and for the most part the area doesn't really flood. When Florence came through in 2018 there was a lot of flooding in areas around us and that's when I learned sand drains water really well. But trees can and will still fall and cause problems like power outages and such. Thankful we have a generator.

Was it in 2018 that the St. John's River rose over the banks in Riverside and flooded Riverside Park? Or was that 2016 which was Hurricane Matthew? Those were wild pictures.

Anyway, everyone stay safe and keep your powder dry!
