Vice President Kamala Harris has finally made her decision on a running mate — middle-aged white guy Tim Walz, the governor of Minnesota who blamed his drunk driving arrest on deafness.

All that remains is for Harris to tell voters what she wants to do at president. So far, she hasn’t said much.

Oh, she wants to be president all right, but she hasn’t offered anything about as what she wants to do as president. Watching her campaign up to this point, you would be forgiven if you came away thinking that Kamala Harris is a very harsh critic of the Joe Biden-Kamala Harris administration.

Harris’s website includes pictures of her and Walz, a biography, donate buttons, etc. But when you visit, you realize that there is actually nothing on issues at all. It’s been more than two weeks now, and there’s no issues tab, no statement on what the candidate believes in, no list of campaign promises...


We’re not entirely in the dark here. Kamala ran in 2020 on a very far-left list of promises: abortion on demand, open borders, “Medicare for All” (including for illegal immigrants), “equity,” banning plastic straws, banning fracking, etc. In some areas, she tried to “out-Bernie” Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.). In that she failed, however, not even making it to January 2020, let alone Iowa.
So, out of all those things she promised, which ones does she still support? No one knows. With the help of the media, she is trying to rewrite her own past and distance herself from those 2020 promises. She’s also gone from being Biden’s “border czar” to someone who was barely involved in the issue.

Her campaign has been all biography, no accomplishment. “She’s fearless,” they declare, while pointing out how she took popular positions on non-controversial issues. “She put murderers in prison!” As opposed to what? Taking them to lunch?...

You're already no doubt hearing about how Walz spent 24 years in the Army National Guard and retired as a command sergeant major. He is fond of referring to himself as the highest-ranking enlisted soldier to serve in Congress.

Here's the truth: He indeed spent 24 years as an enlisted soldier in the Minnesota National Guard. As far as I can tell, he deployed once to Italy and once to Norway. But when it was finally his turn to deploy in the actual Global War on Terror, Walz instead chose his own aspirations over leadership. In a letter posted to Facebook in 2018, veterans from his unit said Walz retired from the National Guard after learning his battalion would be deployed to Iraq—though he assured his troops he would join them.



Walz would have been the Battalion Command Sergeant Major, the highest-ranking non-commissioned officer and arguably the most important leader in his unit. And in the moment they needed him most, when they were about to deploy to Iraq, Walz chose to abandon his men to run for Congress. According to sources within the unit, three of his soldiers died on that deployment.

This isn't a leader. This is a man who uses others to further his own ambitions, then discards them when they become inconvenient. He abandoned his men and left the military before completing the school necessary to become a Command Sergeant Major—though this hasn't stopped him from using the title on the Minnesota government site in his bio.

To me as a combat veteran, this kind of abdication of leadership is unforgivable. It's the true measure of the man, and all I need to know about him...

I am an independent who is squarely in the Republican corner this election because they much more align with my values.  So can we talk about the great accomplishments that Harris has done?  Can we discuss her policies and what she  plans to do to fix the economy and the border.  I saw the videos where she was in charge of the border but couldn't bother to visit it. So the Democrats are going all in on Harris. Lets not talk about Trump here because thats what every Democratic argument turns into.  So what does Harris bring to the table and what will 4 years look like with her running the country.  From the outside she looks as dumb as a bag of rocks but to get where she is she has to have some level of intelligence.  Sell me on her!

Given the way things are going, it's looking more and more likely that she wont need your vote.  

After the assassination attempt, this election was Trump's to lose.  Trump clearly benefitted from Biden's frailty.  It was hard for anyone to support "Anyone but Trump" when the alternative was Biden.  But now, against a younger opponent, voters have both "Anyone but Trump" and "Anyone but Biden".

This election now seems to be shifting to Harris' to lose.  The question is can she avoid a catastrophic foot in mouth mistake over the next 90 days?

Just to continue the article Homebiscuit shared about Walz and his failure as a human being. This is what he allowed - as former CSM of that same National Guard no less - to happen to his city during the riots of 2020. 

But this wasn't his only failure of leadership. He did the same thing when it came to the 2020 Black Lives Matter riots. After allowing the largest city in his state to be overrun by violent protestors who burned entire districts to the ground, Walz scoffed at the mayor's request for National Guard support, referring to the Minnesota National Guard as a bunch of "19 year old cooks."

Were it anyone else, they could plead ignorant. But this was an unforgiveable error for a 24-year veteran of the same State's Guard. Having served, Walz should have known that the Minnesota National Guard boasts 180 Military Police in the 34th Military Police Company and more in the 257th Military Police Company, as well as Air National Guard Security Forces, an infantry battalion, and a cavalry regiment. The National Guard Reaction Force is on standby for rapid deployments in natural disasters and civil unrest scenarios.


And still, he refused to deploy his Guard to protect his residents.

This isn't leadership; it's pandering to extremists to protect his personal ambition.

What has changed?

The only thing that has changed is the media was telling you that Biden finally had to go and Kamala wasn't a good replacement. Now the media is telling you Kamala is great.

The polls didn't change, people haven't switched sides, independents are still picking Trump, etc.

Polymarket is betting, it's not who the experts expect to win. Trump was high, so people were putting money on others. You can manipulate the market by just spending some money to then make more money.

More and more lies are coming out. The stolen valor stuff isn't illegal unless we find out he has lied about receiving metals. He seems to be heavily connected and influenced by CCP. He appears to have no assets, investments, etc and his wife is the same. This doesn't include anything hidden in China, family accounts, etc. The pedophile law changes are terrible. While he isn't Jewish, there are connections so that may cause problems. I'm sure there is more out there.

If they vetted him, then it shows they had no other options. I don't see how someone so uninspiring get picked when you already have a dead weight at the top.


If the stolen valor is just the tip of the iceberg, I don't know if he can make it to the convention. Maybe this is how Biden comes back and then picks Shapiro for VP.
