Do we hold out till a second qb gets hurt then have the 2 teams out bid each other for MJ

I'm leaning this way.

How does it work out financially for both sides?   If I'm the Dolphins I'm immediately thinking about picking up Mac Jones next season.   Mac is gonna get paid by someone.

I just want Tua to have an enjoyable life moving forward.

Or, Trent Baalke could pull his head out of his [BLEEP] and get some proper protection for Trevor.

Or the phins are just that bad. Miami will probably be drafting in the top 5 this year.

With Tua most likely missing at least significant time, if not the season, a backup can only carry them so far. I wentt to bed at halftime, so didn’t see the injury live. Just watched the video and it was bad. Remember years ago seeing that happen to Tommy Kramer in a Vikings game.

Tua needs to retire. It’s sad but that man needs to put his long term health first. Jags should try and move Mac Jones to Miami for a pick. He’s basically a right handed tua. A non mobile QB with below average arm talent whose best qualities are accuracy and anticipation.

I watched a news clip about this and after his last concussion he decided to continue his career so his son could watch him play. I have no idea how old his son is but I'm sure the kid (and Tua's wife and family) would rather have a healthy father than one who's brain injuries render him unable to live a normal life. Tua needs to decide which of those is more important. To continue to play football after this is just being plain selfish.

There are a lot of kids and spouses of our Armed Forces whose parents/spouses suffered repeated concussions/TBIs during deployments and they had no choice to leave their job to preserve their health until the damage had been done.

Tua is in an position of privilege to not only preserve his health but to set an example for other athletes by recognizing when it's time to reset priorities .
