Teddy Bridgewater is not what you thought he was.
Most draft experts having him falling out of the first round. He could easily slide like Jimmy Clausen. I was called every name in the book when I said he was not very good. Doea anyone still think this guy goes in round one? We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!

Yes he goes in round one. I haven't seen anything where he falls completely out of round one though from any actual draft experts.

Bridgewater is Flacco/Big Ben. Not "worth" a top five pick, but able to take a good team to a Super Bowl. There will be a team who regret passing on him.

I meant what I said in the other posts
Quote:Teddy Bridgewater is not what you thought he was. Well, it remains to be seen if he would slide that far. But I certainly wouldn't want him picked for the Jags. I'd prefer guys with the physical tools and the ability to take the pressure that comes with the job. If picked one of the better qbs, i'd be content to take him as our 2nd qb in the draft. But his college tape won't let him slide that far. ![]() Fix the O-Line!

A bit early with any told-you-so's isn't it?
I was wrong about Trent Baalke.
Quote:He'll go in round one and there will be teams who regret not taking him. This. He'll drop a few pegs but not out of round 1. And people will talk about his bad pro day and how teams should have not passed on him ![]() Quote:iPhones suckTruer words have never been spoken.

1) Teddy Bridgewater falls out of the first round.
The Louisville product has a problem, succinctly explained to me by an NFL general manager: "Bridgewater can't throw."

Yeah, I'd call that an issue.

Bridgewater bombed his pro day, a scripted workout that is concocted to benefit the quarterback. No, you don't skip on a player for throwing inaccurate, wobbly passes in a March workout. But you do skip on him when it confirms what you saw in the fall.

I'll stay consistent with what I've been saying for quite some time now: I don't believe there's a franchise quarterback in this draft. I think Johnny Manziel is the best of the bunch. And I'm not convinced, when you dive deep, that Bridgewater is a top-32 player in this class of prospects.
Ouch... I do like his #8, though.
