Doug: Alright, everyone. Today, we play the Brownies. Now, Dallas slapped them around. But, we are not going to watch tape on that game. Instead, we continue to do things the Jaguars way. On 3. 1! 2! 3! Jags way!

I don't miss him, but that whole situation is testament to how poorly the talent evaluation and offensive philosophy has been. They traded for a WR after knowing what he did well in Atlanta for a few years, but then asked him to run different routes and sets than he was used after being out of football for basically 2 years. They didn't add routes/concepts he did well at Atlanta "because they already had Kirk". What was the point of that?

Football is won and lost in the trenches, but we have an obsession with skill players. Our O-Line is average. But our Offensive coaches think they are all world. Most coaches that recognize the limitations of our O-Line would do things differently. Our coaches like to run their heads straight into the wall.

Every team that is excelling has invested in good or great offensive and/or defensive lines. Teams that invest in skill players flail and fail. BOO birds are out. It's halftime and we're feeling good about being down by 10 at home to the Browns. Doug interview before half "...You know, we gotta come out in the second half and put some football together.. thank you".

You pissed away 2 timeouts on 1 drive that resulted in 3 points because you couldn't get the play off in time before a delay of game penalty. A dropped INT on a telegraphed pass. Somebody better be going full on Bobby Knight in the locker room on somebody at half time.
