Patriots looking at Manziel? Trade thoughts.

#1

Not like it would ever happen, but what would you want (you're the gm) to trade #3 for #29. Would you try to work something where we got Mallet + picks? would you just want picks? What picks would you want?

Mallet + #29 + their 2nd rounder + their 1st next year.

Minimum.  Not even sure i'd take that since they always have picks in the late 20s.

That would almost be worth it just to see Brady cry.

Still don't see why people want Mallet?

I don't think the Patriots would look to trade up for Manziel.

There was speculation on PFT that the Pats would consider a trade down if Manziel were on the board.

Worst to 1st.  Curse Reversed!

First round pick this year, first round pick next year, second round pick this year, and a couple fourth rounders at least.

Why in the world would the pats want Manziel? He is the complete opposite of Brady

All this means is that they are looking at what kind of player they are dealing with incase he falls to them that way they not what they have when it comes to them trading back so another team can trade up with them for him.

They are also having Bridgewater in.

@RossTuckerNFL: 0.0% chance Pats draft Manziel. Identifying mental strengths/weaknesses in case play him next 2 years

Literally no chance pats are even considering drafting Manziel. Plus Bridgewater is also visiting with the Pats too.

New England isn't looking to trade up. They're guessing that one or more of the "big three" will be on the board at 29 overall, and they want to auction that pick off to the highest bidder.

Because he's will be a good starter in this league. Despite you and a few others hoping/ pretending like thats impossible.

patriots want other teams to take QBs so their needs are still there when they draft.

if a QB slides, pats will look to trade down for more picks.
