That was the question.  Obviously, inflation and the cost of living affect some far more than others, so for some it's an irrelevant consideration.  In terms of the general welfare of the country, and focusing primarily on the areas in which the President can have a direct and meaningful impact, what, if anything, has been better under Biden?

I have detailed many times the ways I agree and disagree with both candidates on various issues.  If I work up the energy, I'll do it again, and this time I'll save it somewhere so I can copy and paste it whenever the question you ask comes along.  Right now I'll just say, it's a fairly even split for me on the issues.  So now, the question is, am I willing to tolerate a President who is too liberal for my taste in order to avoid a President who is completely incompetent, ignorant, too old, and just plain crazy.  You might think Trump's crazy all-caps tweets at 3AM are not significant and we can ignore them, but I don't think so.  

But let me ask you, if I'm split on the issues, how do you think I should make my decision as to which one to vote for?

No, not really, because what we're voting on isn't whether Biden was better than Trump.  What we're voting on is what we want to happen in the future.  Do we want to continue to help Ukraine?  Do we want to cut taxes and for whom?  Which candidate believes climate change is a threat and deserves some effort to ameliorate the effects of it?  Which candidate will get control of the border?  What's the best thing to do about all these illegal aliens?   Do we want to impose massive tariffs on imports?  Which candidate will support NATO?  Not to mention, is one of the candidates too old?  Is one of the candidates mentally unbalanced?  Is one of the candidates too liberal?  

Whether Trump was better than Biden is a factor, but I'm not voting on that.  I'm voting on what I want to happen in the future.
