Players are disciplined for behavior by benching. That is all I said.

They didn't tell us why, but they did comment how the player responded to the action.

If you don't study for the exam, and get a D, your mom disciplines you by withholding the cookie.

He was a healthy scratch.  Unless I'm mistaken, a scratch means they don't even dress.  They are not on the roster for that game.  That's not being benched.  Benching is that you're still on the roster.  Benched means you may possibly play as a substitute.  A healthy scratch means they brought someone else up to take your spot on the roster to be the sub.

This game will determine if Doug can keep this team imo. If we lose to the Bills i think it spirals out of control. Trevor has lost 7 in a row and Doug has lost 8 out of the last 9. We have lost in every way possible, thats what bad teams do and poor coaching does for a fotball team. If Doug can light a fire under this team and pull out a win I think we beat the Texans as well and start the season at 2-2 with the arrow pointing up and one of the hottest teams in the league. Doug needs to Little at LT and Harrison needs a bounce back game.

If you're short a TE there to hold up better blocking wise? Why the [BLEEP] are you throwing a WR on a DE there instead of maybe, gee, I don't know, your other TE in Luke Farrell or, maybe, just maybe, you decide to incorporate a 6th blocker there in Walker Little or Tugboat instead of asking a WR to block somebody he has no business blocking...

I agree .. my only concern is if you look at the status of the 2 teams we played …. Miami was exposed by the team we play tomorrow… and Cleveland just lost at home to the giants… we may not have played two very good teams. But this is the NFL, and early in the season. I really hope we find ourselves tomorrow and at the very least compete to the end. But I am concerned.
