So they're dumping it off to the endzone

6 teams have done it since 1979.  4 since 1990 and only a 2.5% have done it

But how many of those missing the playoffs were GOOD teams?  Yes, the Carolina Panthers started 0-3 last year and missed the playoffs.  However, they didn't miss the playoffs because of those three games.  They missed it because they went 2-12 in their next 14 games.  The Jaguars game just started, so I'm not going to go through every tie breaker scenario right now, but multiple teams last year would still have made the playoffs if they had lost their first 3 games assuming they did what they did in the remaining 14 games.

Don't get me wrong.  0-3 obviously makes it tougher, but some of those percentages are misleading considering they are overwhelmingly taken from a period when there were fewer games, fewer divisions and fewer playoff teams.

You also ignored the part about "our division and schedule"?  How many of those 0-3 teams missing the playoffs came from a 4 team division where the clear favorite to win that division lost in week three by 27 points?  Sometimes you have to go case by case.

To easy they’re going to walk in

On third down to ensure maximum fatigue.

All three teams this year have went for it on 4th down from their side of the 50. Nobody and I mean nobody respects our defense enough to stop them and nobody respects our offense to put points on the board and make them pay if you do stop them....
