What are the chances clowney falls to us?

The team I'm concerned about taking him is the Texans, I think the Rams get Watkins. Hopefully no one trades up for him.

He wants to be here and Gus and Dave want him here. What are the chances we get him next month?

Good chance that if the Texans don't take him, the Rams do OR they trade with someone who wants him.

I was wrong about Trent Baalke.

I just don't see how two different teams pass on him. To quote Andrew Bernard "none percent chance."

Les Snead is more of a needs drafter. He very well may pass on Clowney if he cant trade out of the pick. The Rams need to surround Bradford with as much talent as possible so they will know for a fact whether to move forward with him as QB.

I didn't catch all of his pro day but of the parts I did see, this kid is just incredibly impressive athletically.  He's going to be a special football player and we need some of those.

I hope he makes it to 3 and barring a massive trade offer I hope Dave sprints the card to the podium himself.

I don't see how Houston passes on him. He is a rare player. But I thought the same thing about Suh coming out of Nebraska and the Rams passed on him.

Unfortunately, Clowney won't make it to pick 3.  If Houston or St Louis don't decide to take him, they'll take listen to multiple offers for someone to trade up to their spot.  I think the only shot the Jags have on Clowney now is if they trade up, and I am not sure Caldwell wants to give up picks and move up.

I agree with this. Even if the Texans don't take him, then St Louis will trade the pick to someone who wants him. I hate St Louis.

What would you be willing to give StL to move up one spot and get him? One of your 4th rounders? Your 3rd?

The Fourth, easily. And without hesitation.

The third? That might take a little more coaxing.

I would not give up the 3rd, and I don't see St Louis accepting that deal for one of our 4ths.

To be honest, I don't want to give up any of our picks in this draft, Too deep. I can accept getting whoever falls to us at 3. Or even trading DOWN from 3 and stockpiling even more picks.

Thats what you do in deep drafts.

Trading up in deep drafts is stupid.

I would say we have a 1 and 3 chance of him falling to us

Clowney IMHO would seem to have more value than a 1st + 4th.

I'd say a 1 and 2 at minimum if I were the Rams.

Why wouldn't they take a 4th from us? Jeff Fisher loves us
