Things are too toxic here for TLaw.  It would be best if he could go somewhere else and leave this place in the rear view.

If TLaw can't handle criticism than he has no business being in the NFL..

That’s such bull.
Jacksonville is the easiest place to play.
He sucked as a rookie and everyone just chalked it up to Urban Meyer.
After year 2 he was essentially crowned as the second coming. Even after year 3 - where he struggled with injuries and inconsistent play down the stretch, and a major collapse by the team, he was rewarded (prematurely) with a massive contract extension.

Don’t pretend that he’s being mistreated. He has been treated more fairly. Anywhere else he would’ve received a lot harsher criticism MUCHUCH sooner.
He's not being mistreated by the fans, media or owner.

I think he's being done a disservice by this coaching staff and GM. It's been 4+ years of Baalke and the OL is still trash. They doubled down on basically the same OL hoping Morse would be the saving grace and change everything. They're horrible at self scouting and become infatuated with arm length and measurables. Rauscher still has a job which is beyond me. They are running a trash offensive scheme, they can't script out the first 15 plays (something Doug Marrone could do!). Trevor has never had the same top WRs in back to back years.

He has his faults for sure but if you're looking for the definition on "How to ruin your franchise QB?".... Look no further than the Jacksonville Jaguars.

It is too toxic.  You guys disappeared after he took the team to the playoffs in year 2 and got to the quarters.   You guys were nowhere to be seen for a good part of last season, but you were laying in the weeds the whole time sharpening your knives.   That's how it is here and it's unlikely to change.   A move somewhere else would probably benefit both sides.

He will never be good enough here.  It happens.   Both sides would benefit from a mutual parting of ways.

You disagree that a parting of ways would be mutally beneficial?  How about a straight up trade for either Levis or ARichardson.  Would clear some cap space.

No.. We drafted his sorry [BLEEP], he stays here.. If he wants to play like [BLEEP], that's on him and so are the repercussions.

What are the drawbacks from a straight up trade for either Levis or ARichardson?  How about Hurts?  Daniel Jones?

Once again, like most people have already said, Lawrence is not the main problem, he is part of it, especially if you are paying him like a top/elite QB (which he clearly isn't and never will be).
Well Andy Reid is the real OC so of course Mahomes is on his team. If Trevor had Reid, don't you think it would be a little different? If he had Shanny, McVay, LaFleur, OcConnell, McDaniel.....

And Brady and Manning? and Josh Allen?

Didn't Pederson made Wentz look like a MVP contender? didn't he win a SB with Wentz and Foles? I'd bet good money Trevor will never look elite with any coach in the league. Sure, he can look a bit better but not top 5.

I also don't remember Russell Wilson looking as bad as Trevor with Bevell.

I am a fan, not a cheerleader.

Who are you replacing him with?

Meh. This is a lazy [BLEEP] take man and very, very easy to [BLEEP] on.

Who would you rather have on your offensive line?

Jason Peters at LT or Cam Robinson at LT?
Lane Johnson at RT or JaWaan Taylor / Anton Harrison at RT?
Jason Kelce at OC or Luke Fortner / Mitch Morse at OC?

That's just the offense. We can do defense next as well if you want...

Then you want to compare Wilson to Lawrence. When we all saw it was the defense that carried that football team more than anybody and then it was literally Marshawn Lynch on offense that also carried that football team.

Levis or ARichardson.   That way Trevor could bring down the division rivals like he does here (according to many on here).

So, really, potential downgrades that are also injury prone and turnover prone, where, one of them currently has a higher rated offensive line than ours?

That's not how the cap works, but ok.

The Jags can't trade him for two reasons.  A. His contract has a no-trade clause.  B. His contract was just signed and the dead money is $142M, $133M, and $116M over the next three years.

A no trade clause just means Lawrence has to agree to it. Pretty sure a team willing take him on would have a better OC than the Jags and Trevor could be interested.

The contract as written is set up for option bonuses that get guaranteed effectively at the beginning of the next football year. So a post June 1st trade, this season would only net 2024 Dead Cap: $13,529,725 and 2025 Dead Cap: $30,000,000 per Spotrac. Over the Cap shows relatively similar figures. They are guaranteed as part of the contract, but they were not considered a signing bonus and have not been paid out by the Jaguars yet. That is why the Dead cap is different for cutting him versus trading him.

I don't like to insult posters, but man, this post right here makes me want to reconsider my ethics.

Seriously, Levis is straight garbage.

And ARichardson?  The dude from the clots?  He's crazy inconsistent....  He's fun to watch now, I have my doubts as to how close he is to a true franchise QB.  Lawrence has much high cielings and much high floors than both these players.  We'd be downgrading the position if we traded Lawrence for either of these 2 players.
