I did not say that. What drives me crazy is people acting like they already know we will pick Teddy Bridgewater, when in fact the Jaguars only know they need to watch and talk to him. Of couse, after all games I care about have been played, I will get into discussions about Teddy's ability to play in Gus Bradley's offense. But until then, I will do what the Jaguars are doing: focus on winning games.

What's crazy is people assume it is a given that the Jaguars will pick the best college quarterback just because he is, well, the best college quarterback. That sounds like the only position needing repair is quarterback, which is never true when a team gets blown out every week.

He's graduating this December. He took out a 10 million dollar insurance policy. He said he would rather be the #1 pick than win a Heisman.

Did you start paying attention to the sports world yesterday? That is what fans do. They belly up to the water cooler and talk about everything under the sun related to sports and their teams. They speculate, on everything.

It's not hard to believe fans would speculate that the Jags may just want to draft one of, if not the best player in the draft.

Focus on winning games??? Wut??? :wacko: Sorry but at this point of this year, the focus should not be on winning games... The focus should be on getting better, yes....but all winning games does for us at this point is hurt our chances to finally get a player in the draft that could really make a significant difference.

I guess you enjoy being mired in the mediocrity that this team has been stuck in over the last decade.....because if we don't get the at least one of the top 2 selections in the draft, theres a pretty good chance that more of the same will continue for this franchise.

Some of you are making him out to be a "can't miss" prospect. That's a falsehood. He may not be the guy you think he is. Just like any prospect. Nothing is set in stone.

And you've pretty much been equally doing the same for Clowney. Whats the difference?

Clowney isn't any more of a sure thing than Bridgewater....especially with the foot issues.
