PFF grades week 7

As I thought, Little had a good game. Seeing Lawrence and BJT up there is a good sign

LOL - I'm gonna have to rewatch just to see why Mitch Morse got a 25 in protection
Solid numbers for Tyson Campbell - good to see him back
Jefferson had 10 snaps, I like that pressure rating
Allen in the blue as well for pressures, intresting bout Morse I did see that fortner got 2 snaps lol
if you watch the 4th and 1 we got stuffed, that is why morse got a 59.1 in Rblk same with the Ezra they both got there butts kicked in the Run game late..

Little should have always been the starting LT over Cam. At the very least, he provides the same level of play as Cam for a far less price. At best, he provides a far better level of play than Cam and again, for a far cheaper price.
Sad thing is I think they waited too long on Little. He probably can't wait to get out of Jacksonville for how this staff has did him. He'll be a starting LT somewhere next season.

You, of all people will find plays to point out the differences between the PFF score and what you think is the correct thing. At the end of the day, the result is all that matters. Edit: And on Sunday, the O-Line played well. That's all we need to know. It's not about how some stupid pay-walled website think. Like they are watching our games and following this team as intensely as this forum is. (10-21-2024, 07:07 PM)Eric1 Wrote: Little should have always been the starting LT over Cam. Robinson isn't the long term answer, that was obvious last year. He's always been inconsistent. Little should be given a chance to prove his worth. The fact that we never gave Little a chance is all on the coaching staff. There are players here that have talent, but they never seem to get to show out. I hope we can still turn this thing around. But if the GM and HC can't figure out who is worth playing and who isn't? Well, we're just spinning our wheels in the mud. We show less advertisements to registered users. Tank doing an early MJD disguise right before Halloween. Imagine if Tank can continue this type of production! MJD was special, though. Tank has a lot more to do. Almost like that's where he made his money over his career.. Crazy concept LOL. It's sad that we're basically forced to put him at DE because we only have 2 real DEs on the roster in Walker and JHA. I like Myles Cole as a prospect, but dude is nothing but a raw slab of possibly promising meat. We knew he wasn't ready this year, but I don't think he would of lasted on the PS if they tried to stash him. Devin Lloyd continues to be one of our better defenders despite the hate he gets here. Idk how people can watch him and miller and think miller is better.

Problem is they use Lloyd in coverage, and that is where he falters. If he is charged with stopping the run or pressing the passer, he does well. To the OP, I didn't need PFF to affirm what my eyes told me, Little did very well. He and Cleveland were blasting open some huge holes for Tank and DEJ. I don't understand PFF sometimes, JHA is through the roof in pass rush despite two (?) offsides calls and Walker was the one that seemed in Maye's face most of the day. Guess my eyes are liars.

I'm guessing they're using Muma instead of Miller on obvious passing downs but it would be good to confirm. Lloyd and Miller are both liabilities when tasked with coverage. Both are very good against the run (most of the time) Watching the tape - you see Miller get beat in coverage - but you often see Lloyd completely lost as to who he is supposed to be covering and the player runs free. I think that's where the ire stems from. |
