Not having Nico to pick up the off-schedule throws is affecting the team, but the real issue is the OL. Watching the Texans OL try (and fail) to pick up simple DL stunts in pass protection has been a huge issue all year long. It's particularly surprising given the fact that the OL was 100% healthy against the Packers. Running slow-developing plays and PA against a team that's sending 6 blitzers seems very silly, but the worst part is that the issue seems to be OL/TE communication rather than the OL getting out-manned.

Texans: 6-2 Colts: 4-4 Jaguars: 2-6 Titans: 1-6

AR benched. I have to think his “I was tired” stunt contributed a bit to that. Along with his worst of all time comp %
IT WAS ALWAYS THE JAGS

After seeing tonights Jets / Texans game, i think the division is the Colts to lose moving forward. Their O line is better, AR is now on the bench where he belongs, and they are getting healthier while the Texans are getting sicker. Also, Stroud is showing signs of the sophomore slump.

Stroud has 1 TD in the last 3 games. Teams have figured him out and he doesn't have his All Pro WR as well. Overrated as [BLEEP]

Now that Flacco is the starter I believe you are right.

Going to be tight/rough as the tinhorns have already beaten the clots twice. 10-7 might be the division title record as looking at both teams' remaining schedules: clots (4-4): @ Vikings vs Bills @ Jets vs Lions @ Patriots @ Broncos vs tacks @ Giants vs Jags tinhorns (6-3): vs Lions @ Cowboys vs tacks @ Jags vs Dolphins @ Chiefs vs Ravens @ tacks Looks fairly daunting for the clots the next 4 weeks. I could see 3-4 more losses for them easily. 9-8 or 10-7 at best IMO. Also see at least 3 more losses in there for the tinhorns, although I don't think they will lose enough to fall a game behind the clots. 10-7 or 11-6 at least for them. Maybe the Jags can steal one from them and put them in a real spot ?. If the tinhorns continue to fall apart,, 9-8 might win the division again. But 10-7 or better most likely. I probably need to watch whatever press conference this is from, but in print it just looks like a guy saying “we” need to be better which is what a guy should be saying after a loss. Once we buy into the systems and what is being coached, and also we have to have leadership to take over. I believe this isn’t the end, but it’s definitely a great wakeup call for us to tighten up the ship. This is now playoff football, it’s November-December, this is the chunk of our schedule, a lot of great teams we are playing on prime time and we got to be able to find ways to win.” Heck I wouldn't mind if he called out his Oline in public, but he didn't. He's leading the league in receiving sacks and pressures, his line doesn't understand how to pick up stunts/blitzes, and despite having Mixon run for another 100 yards his OC seems allergic to hot routes.

We are now last in the AFC South. Behind the tacks. Same record as the Panthers.
Let that sink in.
