If the Jaguars did draft Hunter, he would obviously not play full=time cornerback and receiver. The chances of injury are already strong for 1 way players and while Hunter is a rare athlete, he is not Superman= as evidenced by his shoulder injury on Saturday.

While I would NOT play him full-time on both sides of the ball, I would certainly give him a certain number of snaps at his secondary position. It would seem like the more logical plan would be to play him full-time at cornerback and give him him as many as 10-15 snaps as a receiver. To me, that would be the best way to maximize his immense talents at the NFL level. I have not seen him play enough to know if he is clearly better at one position right now. Best case would be getting a shut-down cornerback to pair with Campbell and a very dangerous receiver to pair with BTJ on critical offensive snaps. The more I think of this, if he is as great as advertised, I can't imagine why any team in position to draft him would pass with the exception of one in dire need of a quarterback.

I’d let him play both and see where he is elite at. That’s what happened with Deion back in the day, and Deion stuck at CB. If he happens to be elite at both positions at the NFL level, hell, that’s two birds 1 stone right there. I have a feeling his route running might not be where it needs to be, and he’d stick at CB, but try him both.

The QB class is starting to heat up a little and we might actually land a dream trade down. Cam ward, Shedeur Sanders, Quinn Ewers, and Carson Beck could all enter the convo for 1st overall, or atleast top 5. I wouldn’t want to leave the top 10 but if we could land a boat load of picks say from the Raiders moving up for Shedeur I’d love that. Mason Graham looks like an absolute game wrecker at DT. He’d make an immediate impact. As I said earlier, if there’s a Sewell type, absolutely in! Joe Alt, while not a sexy pick, is playing outstanding for the chargers and Herbert must be very happy.

Hunter is a CB in my opinion for this team in particular. I wouldn't overthink this. I wouldn't waste any time trying to test him out as a two-way player at this level. When you go through the interview process with the kid you tell him this up front and openly so he knows what to expect.

I want him absorbing one playbook. Not two. I want him to understand he'll be tasked as my #1 CB and he'll be the man-to-man guy and he'll be matched-up on every snap, regardless of the offensive scheme or defensive scheme, on public enemy number one on a week-to-week basis.

If I need you to cover the best outside receiver in the NFL? You're trailing him. If I need you to cover the best slot receiver in the NFL? You're trailing him. Only exception would be due to last minute injuries with the opponent's best available skill player at the WR position.

If we land in the top 5 in next year's draft, it's so far, in this order, my go to selections:

1. Travis Hunter - CB - Colorado
2. Mason Graham - DT - Michigan
3. Will Campbell - LT - LSU
4. Will Johnson - CB - Michigan
5. Kelvin Banks Jr. - LT - Texas

I would consider a trade down in the event we can land one of the following five players still in the first round:

1. Nic Scourton - EDGE - Texas A&M
2. James Pearce Jr. - EDGE - Tennessee
3. Emeka Egbuka - WR - Ohio St.
4. Kenneth Grant - DT - Michigan
5. Benjamin Morrison - CB - Notre Dame

Yeah I hear you. It’d be very tantalizing to try him on some offense plays though, for sure. I mean look at this highlight tape 5 games in. This kid is one of the most talented college players ever.

He's simply a winner with a top dawg mentality - and that's what this team desperately needs.

If he's available, we have to take him. If not, select the best available O-lineman.

Will Johnson as well.  He helped Michigan win a championship and played very well againsy guys like MHJ and Odunze last year.  I think he will be a very good corner.  I'm very high on Hunter as well but it wouldn't shock me if Johnson ends up being the best corner in this class.  I would take either

I am leaning towards this direction as well. A lot of football left. They're barely hanging on inside the top 25. They're being hindered by really bad QB play in the passing game at the moment but their defense has done a lot to try and keep them in games.

Will Johnson and Rod Moore are both two prospects I wouldn't hesitate on bringing in. Will also has about an inch and 20 pounds on Hunter and he's just as sticky and instinctive in coverage against better ranked football teams in my opinion.

fine with it. Get to the EZ, then start your celebrations. After that, it's a dead ball foul.

We're on our way to making that the 1st overall pick, especially with the next few games coming up.

Does it really matter where the Jaguars pick? They have had multiple years with top 10 picks including two with the number 1 pick. Until they find the right GM and head coach things will not change.

I hate to be so apathetic, but Shad Khan has given no indication he will fire Baalke. I'm not sure why he loves the guy so much, but until he leaves I see no reason for optimism. Pederson is much more likely to be let go at the end of this season, if not sooner. At this point, I hope both will be gone. However, if I could only pick one to leave it would be Baalke.

Vegas, NO, and tacks strike me as the teams who most likely would sell the house for a QB. Cam Ward and Shedeur could land us a boat load of picks for HOPEFULLY a new GM... unlikely though. Carolina, Jets, Browns, Giants, and Miami all could potentially want a QB too. Lot of potential with this draft.

Why would he?  You don't give a guy any indication you're going to fire him before you fire him.  If you do that then you could get burned or not get full effort from that employee, not get his best whatever that may be.
