The only way it can get worse at this point is if we start having more injuries to key players.  We are in line for the number 1 spot.  It will be the 3rd time picking 1st overall in Baalkes 5 years here.  3 out of 5 picking 1st overall lol, you cant make this stuff up.

Or worse, people just stop showing up for the games like before. Coach Campos talked about that on the radio after the game. He said sometimes it takes that to show owners that things are indeed as bad as they seem. 
Khan is flirting with the tarps legacy as 'The Stadium of the Future' is preparing to break ground. He's playing with more chips on the table than a group of professional football players, he has a city looking over his shoulder now. Ol' boy better get hard (insert ED pun here) or face questions from other people besides the fans.

I was curious at looked at the stats.  Patrick Mahomes and Trevor Lawrence's stats this season are actually pretty similar.  Both have played 9 games.  Check it out:

Mahomes:  2,208 passing yards, 12 TD's, 9 interceptions, 90.3 QB rating
Lawrence:  2,004 passing yards, 11 TD's, 6 interceptions, 87.9 QB rating

Keep in mind that Mahome's stats are with the #2 ranked offensive line while Lawrence is with the #28 ranked offensive line.

The chiefs have an effective running game and the best defensive lineman in the NFL. That means Mahomes doesn't have to carry them, they can win when he's just ok.

They have much more than just that.  They are stacked at every level on D and they have arguably the best TE ever.  They have a good set of WRs in Hopkins, Worthy, and Smith Schuester.  Not gonna mention Pacheco and Rice but they are also 5th in pass blocking efficiency as well.  They have a top 3 kicker, one of the best DC ever and one of the best offensive play callers and coaches ever as well to support Mahomes.

I have no real issues with the game today except that they still cannot run the ball worth a damn to support whoever is taking the snaps. That you think the coaches can just magically make this roster able to beat better teams says more about your perception of football than their coaching ability.

If you fire Trent but keep Doug tomorrow you'll have a much better team in 2 years.

If you fire both you could go either way, the future is uncertain with a complete overhaul.
