Salary cap is in good shape, team has a QB, the owner is clearly good to work for, and the team has plenty of draft capital the next few years. I'd think this is an attractive option even before considering the geography of Jacksonville and being in Florida.

Jacksonville is a good place to be an NFL player.  Well, besides the lack a good variety of food, and maybe the young guys would like more of a night life.  But other than that, it's hard to think of another city I'd rather be in.

Edit to say I grew up in the Rocky mountains, and I think Denver is a freaking great city.

Not even close man, the roster can be fixed in an offseason. In fact, some of the solution (eg guys like Smith, Jarrian, Prince, and Jefferson) are likely already here. This sounds like a broken record at this point, but get a left tackle and right guard who can run block, get another pass rusher, fix the safeties, and draft another top tier CB and replacement center. That's it, that's what needs to be done here. They have well more than enough cap space and draft capital to do all that this spring.

This is not a "blow it up and rebuild" situation.  I've been saying this for a few weeks.  We're a playoff contending team with the right tweaks and a real HC.

Roster is years away from being competitive. The depth is worst in the league. Zero elite talent. Defense starters are [BLEEP]. Offensive line sucks. This is a hard pass if I’m a top HC option. Not starting my career with back to back guaranteed 5-6 win seasons.

Kind of depends on how they solve the GM situation. 

Because there will be capital available. No one should expect a miracle turnaround in 2025 - but it could be a big build year and a competitive even if not over .500 team. 

The new GM will have 58 million in cap space before cuts are made (and cuts will def be made) and will have SIX draft picks prior to the 5th round. 

If a top coach candidate likes TL and sees a GM he feels good about working with - We'll be one of the more attractive spots to land. 

I for one believe Baalke is definitely gone come January. I'm not in the camp that thinks he's somehow conned Khan into keeping him.

This is what it boils down to. For example if Ben Johnson doesn’t like Trevor, well Ben isn’t coming. There is no option for a new QB. We will find out this off-season how he is viewed, and if we get retreads we know what the answer is
