They should have to go out and embarrass themselves for the remainder of the year.  Why let them off the hook if you are paying for them.  Perhaps they just need that Billy Napier Vote of Confidence from Shad that promises to keep them through next season .... or perhaps through the life of the new Stadium Deal to remove any doubt.

Like I said I am fine with either option. What is agreed is the current regime has run it's course. Since Kahn has not asked I sit and wait to see what Kahn thinks.

There is none for this team.  The only benefit would be if there is an assistant that has head coaching potential where you could give them a trial run.  Even then I'd argue it doesnt give that person a great opportunity so it's not really a fair assessment.  But it's a moot point for the Jags as there is no assistant who could sniff a head coaching job. 

I mentioned in a different thread a few days ago this same thing.  I get that it makes people feel good if we were to fire some people today but in the end, it has zero bearing on who the next head coach / GM will be.  You're hiring these new people after the season is over anyways.  Is there anything Shad couldn't do in his search for a new GM/coach if we kept the current staff as opposed to firing them and putting interims in their place?  The answer is no.

Sometimes there are moves you make that are mainly for the purpose of sending a message to the world that what is happening will not be tolerated.  Such a message is very appropriate after a team that had high expectations at the beginning of the season goes 2-9 with the last game being one of the worst losses in NFL history.  It seems odd to me that after that game yesterday, no one would get fired.
