I can't believe this. I can understand letting Doug play out the string. But not firing Baalke right now? I'm just beside myself at this point. Maybe flsprtsgod was right. Maybe Baalke will survive this dumpster fire of a season. Un [BLEEP] real

Look, this isn't to spike the ball, it's just kinda how Khan operates. It's not rational for us to expect people we've watched for years to suddenly behave differently than they always have before. That's why I don't get upset at Doug's pressers either, he's the same even-keeled guy he was two years ago, just now people are mad at him so it's a bad thing.

You know that I don't want to happen what I think will happen and I still have slim hope that Khan will do the right thing at year end, but let's have a prayer vigil on Black Monday Eve to wait it out.

Yeah, this is the right approach.  It's still too early for any football spiking...  But the odds that what you were saying for several weeks now may be what actually happens are increasing.  I'm still holding out hope...  But god forbid we win a few meaningless games over the next 2 months and Baalke convinces Shad to stay the course.  Things are not completely hopeless.  But after today, things are getting kinda bleak.  What happened yesterday should have resulted in some accountability.  Somewhere...  The inaction is concerning.

I think the worst case is the team pulls 3 or 4 wins out at the end and everybody stays. I don't think I can do another year of this, life is too short.

I agree.  It's really strange that after that game yesterday, the worst loss in team history, no one is getting fired.  Very strange.

The "best roster we've ever had" is now 2-9, and just suffered one of the most lopsided games in NFL HISTORY, and no one getting fired.  That is really weird.

Not to depress anyone any more than we all already are...

We get the tacks twice, the lowly jets, and a rudderless raiders team that can't get out of their own way.  That's 4 wins right there...

It's his nature. It's written in the stars. He's a Cancer. It all makes sense now. Cancer's are notoriously emotional, guarded and broody.

He's probably waiting on his wife to get in his ear and tell him he needs to come out of his soft shell and shed this skin that he's currently in.

He's outgrown this relationship with Baalke. It's time to move on. Trent's an Aquarius. Makes even more sense now. They're masters of the art of bull [BLEEP]. Those born under this star sign could sell you beach front property in Colorado. Amazing trait really.

Just hire me bro, I am a Caprisun. Caprisun's are the best.

The only benefit of not firing Pederson, Press or Neilsen now is that if the Jags steal some wins from one of the other 2-3 win teams in December, Baalke cannot use those wins under an interim coach as "proof" it was only Doug's fault for this season.

Wait a minute. I am not a Caprisun. My bad, I am an affordable Ford Taurus. Reliable, stubborn and headstrong. I know what this team needs.

Give. Me. The. Keys.

You're qualified...

But bro, you know you have to submit a resume', right?

Anybody know Shad's fax number?

Yep, this team could still end up 7-10 or...gulp...8-9. Completely wild is that the tinhorns are likely to go 1 and 3 over their last 4 with the one I granted being the last week against Tennessee. Lol, what a spoiler if the Jags win out and the tittians give us the division by beating the tinhorns on the last day of the season. Kinda like us last year in reverse.  I...don't know how to feel about that information.

That is some sweet sweet copium right there.  You got any more to share with the rest of us?  Seriously, this is pretty good reasoning.  Though I could also see Doug and Baalke working together to pull the wool over Shad's eyes if they win 4 of the last 6 games...

With Mac Jones as QB, I think most of those end up as losses. If Trevor does come back then yes the Jags could and probably should win all 4 of those games.

Right...  That's very true.  Mac Jones has one of the weakest arms I've ever seen.  But he also doesn't make many mistakes...

Dude, Lawrence really just needs to take one for this franchise and go get his surgery right now.  Don't let them try and bring you back for a meaningless run to save the jobs of this terrible front office.

They are all gone eventually. You cannot tell Khan that this is the most talent he's ever had and then put up the worst beat down in team history. No outcome of the remaining season games will alter that.

Even a 6 game win streak, division title, and two playoff wins? Would that kind of turn around not alter...everything?

If Lawrence comes back, this is possible...  If Lawrence get's surgery, I don't see Mac Jones running the table.  Heck I don't think Mac Jones has the arm to sweep the tacks.

This all falls, literally, on Lawrence's shoulder.

Edit: Awe heck what do I know?? Maybe Mac can win 4 of 6. But I don't think he can run the table.
