Coaching Firings/ Personnel Changes

People want Kingsbury to be our HC??? This entire fan base has gone mad. Beta males like Kliff don't command the respect of the locker room as HC.

Naw, Ben Johnson or Jesse Minter if we go the young coordinator route or Vrabel or BB if we want experience

Can't wait to see how Minters defense does tonight vs the Ravens

I've seen and read enough the last 50 year to know with certainty that the last thing anyone should ever do is manage by fan perception, because fans are ignorant about 90% of what goes into running a football team. It's why they say stupid [BLEEP] like "Kingsberry should be the new coach here."

It’s not just the fans saying it. Baalke went hard to get Coach to fire him, and there are plenty of pundits saying the same thing. And with this record at his season that followed last season’s meltdown , really it’s all of them. The players too, especially the players…

They ALL suck, except BT, that dude is special..

I think bad players hurt the record more than bad coaches, and this year should be a case study for you to learn that lesson. These players have been in position to win repeatedly this year and failed to do so. Whether it's a fumble, a drop, and interception, a missed tackle, blown coverage, or repeated penalties, these guys have shown that knack for [BLEEP] up on the field. Yeah, I don't love the coaching...but it's simplistic and lazy to point the finger there. As Tom McManus said last Friday, at some point these are professional players who shouldn't need their coaches to tell them what to do or to motivate them to do it. The players have the final and ultimate responsibility for what happens on the field. You would of known that if you could actually understand what I say on here.

Clearly that guy needs to go, I can't believe he's let the 49rs be such a terrible team this year.

Every team fumbles, drop passes, turns the ball over etc.  but still find a way to win.   It coaching and the players, not one or the other.  Goff threw 5 picks and the Lions won.  Film has been broken down multiple times to show these trash play designs.  Players on D aren't put in the best positions to succeed either.  This coaching staff is trash but I know you don't know the game enough to see it even when it has been broken down.  This is pretty much the same D minus Williams and Jenkins with the addition of Armstead, Darby, and others and are 15 spots lower than last year.  The offensive scheme is stale and horrendous as well and puts players in [BLEEP] positions to succeed.

And yet, these Bleep positions they've been in have been in position to be 9-2 this season. Had those players not made those mistakes and the team be say... 8-3 today you'd have no issue with the coaching. That's the difference, I know where the fault lies and what must be done to correct it. You think moving deck chairs keeps the Titanic afloat. I also know from discussing this stuff with you for years that it's pointless to continue, you haven't the ability to absorb the lessons and will just keep bleating on even as the next coaching staff fails.

Why do I have a feeling that the "in-house changes" were on the defensive side of the ball?

No we wouldn't.  We are lucky to have the 2 wins we have.   You are the only person on here not able to realize coaching is a huge problem.  You could get slapped in the face with things and still not see it.

Let's go to week 1. ETN doesn't fumble, the Jags take a 3 score lead. You think they lose?

Let me settle this one for you two:  The problem is the players AND the coaches.  THE END.

Still wrong. The problem is Baalke, and he's likely the one who survives the coming purge.

The Snake will use the players as the skin he sheds I'm afraid. I feel it in my bones, Baalke is gonna survive this somehow. It's just got #becausejaguars all over it.

My feeling is that Khan is going to make changes across the board.  Whatever Baalke sold him to result in the "the best team assembled by the Jacksonville Jaguars ever" was utter BS.  It's one thing that Khan is a patient owner, but no one as successful as he is, is going down the exact same path with someone who [BLEEP] to him.  I feel like the terrible record before Trevor was hurt, is actually beneficial for those that want a clean sweep, as that's one less excuse that Baalke could use.  There's no way he watched the Bills game and the Lions game and thought, "We're almost there, let's run it back."
