Whatever your opinion is of Trevor Lawrence, no NFL team is going to pay/split the dead money ($133M) to make that trade.  That's a non-starter to even consider having the trade discussion.

Whatever your opinion is of Trevor Lawrence, no NFL team is going to pay/split the dead money ($133M) to make that trade.  That's a non-starter to even consider having the trade discussion.

There are probably only 8 teams who wouldn't trade their current QB for Trevor.

Allen, Burrow, Mahomes, Herbert, and Lamar for sure.

His contract doesn't matter. He's been playing for the most inept franchise in all of sports. A bum HC, an archaic offensive system, a snake GM and an owner who has no vision.

If there was a real professional in the front office or the coaching staff, they'd have IR'd Lawrence 3 weeks ago... But, that's not the type of franchise we are. So, expect Lawrence to play on Sunday and get his bell rung again, because that's how this franchise rolls. Only then after we lose to the tinhorns will they finally shut him down.

There should be someone in the Trevor Lawrence camp (his agent, his personal doctor, his wife, his family, someone!) that is trying to convince him that it's not a good idea to get sent out to the wolves and delay the needed surgery. Someone, anyone?
