Michael Strahan just said it looked intentional to him because of how Al-Shaair led with his elbow.

The guy (a lucky felon) should be placed on the commissioners exempt list for the rest of the season. IF he doesn't drop his shoulder and adjust his forearm he missed TL. It was intentional from where I sat in the stadium. Also, after I came home calmed down and watched it on slow motion.

Let's just pump the brakes on announcing Trevors retirement for him. It was a nasty hit but thankfully he was able to walk out the stadium and didn't need to go to the hospital. He'll be in the concussion protocol and with the shoulder will probably sit for the rest of the year. 

I know people are angry he played but the shoulder didn't cause that today. It was a late, nasty illegal hit that should result in suspension. I'm proud of the way the players stood up for Trevor and had his back. 

He's a fighter, a competitor, a leader and our QB.

Rookie CB Jarrian Jones got ejected for throwing punches. Don't know if it was at dude who cheap shotted Lawrence or not, but he was definitely throwing hands at some tinhorns player/s.

Trevors nfl career is over,even if he is able to play again he won't be the same.  Unfortunately he will be forced into retirement just like Luck was for the colts.

I was concerned about his inconsistent accuracy coming out of college but was assured he’d become more consistent in the pros. Well, here we are. He also lacks a certain degree of field vision. He’s not terrible at it but he misses open receivers more often than you’d like for someone with his level of talent and experience.

But he’s going to be our franchise QB for at least the next four or five years so we need to learn to accept it.

It’s not a decision you want the owner to make. But it’s pretty hard to justify Lawrence even being in that game yesterday. If you’re an owner and you step in to sit a player, you might as well drop the people making those decisions as well. Since he’s so timid about doing that, I doubt he’ll be making player/personnel decisions either.

Engram jumped on him as soon as it happened.  I wish he would have grabbed him around the throat but Engram was right there.   Dude used his arm brace as a weapon.  Thats should be a huge fine and he should be suspended the rest of the season imo.

His biggest flaw is that he plays within the system and expects everyone to be where they're supposed to be. If the play is for the WR to make a 15 yard dig route and be at a certain location, he is throwing to that location and trusting his WR and OL to do their jobs. 

Trevor is not perfect. No one claims he is. But outside of Mahomes/Allen, what QB could have come into this dumpster fire of a franchise and do more? Inept owner, clueless HC, snake GM, his first HC was the worst of all time, receivers who drop the most passes, a non existent running game, an achaic offensive system.... The list goes on. I'm not saying the pieces around him need to be perfect. We saw the bad OL in 2022 and he won a playoff game. He needs a HC who can actually gameplan well and play to his players strengths. A running game where the defense respects the run because Trevor is lights out when he can use PA pass. 

I think it was pretty clear from the start of that game that he shouldn't have been playing. He couldn't drive the ball like he normally does. The deep shot to BTJ was floated. 

This franchise is failing Trevor Lawrence like the clots did Luck and the Lions previously did Stafford. It's pretty clear at this point.

Maason Smith played, Armistead was inside a bunch more, and saw some blitzes so the defense wasn't unwatchable this week. They also ran the ball pretty effectively after Lawrence got hurt, haven't seen that at all this year. Saw Washington get a bunch of looks too. None of this stuff matters all that much in the lost season, but it was a few things that looked different this week.
