I think this C class is sneaky good. This center class gets compared to last year which isnt fair imo. Last year was the best C class ever imo, at least since I remember. There isnt that sure guy that played C in college that should go in the first but its pretty deep for mid rounds and a lot of good ceners in this class with most coming from all the biggest colleges. What do yall think about Seth McLaugliin? I remember all the issues he had last year with bad snaps but he resurected his college carerre at Ohio St and went on to win the Remington trophy award. Alabama fans hated him but it was mostly because of his bad snaps, it looks like he has fixed those issues. McLaughlin and Donovan Jackson are 2 players that I will keep a very close eye on in the playoffs. Jackson was up and down at G for the buckeyes but he has looked very solid and LT for thin. Jackson would be a really good get in the 3rd or 4th imo for a guy we can develop that could play multiple positions on the oline. If there was a such think as most improved player or come back player of the year this year I would give it to McLauglin. I remember him costing Alabama a few losses last year it seems like with bad snaps. I didnt even realize it was the same guy earlier in the year. What a bounce back from dude though lol. Josh Simmons is another guy we might be able to get in the 3rd or 4th that if for injury might have been the top tackle selected. Simmons had the knee injury so that could possibly be a steal in the draft with the injury red flag.

It's harder to find big guys in the draft who could excel at the NFL level. A defensive line of Allen, Maason Smith, Mason Graham and Walker with Hamilton and Armstead rotating in as tackles has the potential to be elite. The cornerback position could be upgraded in free agency as there are several great options lead by D.J. Reed and Chavarious Ward. No doubt, an additional safety and pass rusher will be needs that need to also be addressed at some point in the draft or in free agency. Its just one sites opinion but but nfldraftbuzz.com has Tyler Booker as the 48th best run blocking lineman. I just figured out on this site you can click on a player and it lists them in order for different categories for different positions. run blocking, pass blocking et.. They have Charles Grant as the best run blocker in this draft. https://www.nfldraftbuzz.com/stats/DR/OL/1/2025 I think we need a new RB that is good and also very good in pass blocking. If nfldraftbuzz.com is somewhat accurate on their pass blocking grades id love to add a Brashard Smith, they have him as the 3rd best pass blocking RB and he is a ex WR moved to RB. Both Etienne and Tank are very poor run blockers. Smith would be a great additon to the RB room, well rounded back that can block and maybe the best recieving back in this class. Smith looks like we would be the perfect 3rd down back and is good at running the rock as well. https://www.nfldraftbuzz.com/stats/DP/RB/1/2025 This is all just one sites opinion but it can give us a little idea and somewhere to start on the guys we havent seen much.
They have Jake Slaughter as the highest rated run blocking Center. PFF also had them as their highest graded overall center this year. One on here thinks the highest grated run blocker is like Fortner lol, who is arguably the worst run blocking center in the league lol. I really want one of Wilson or Slaughter in the mid rounds if we dont get a C in FA. I think Slaughter and Wilson could compete with Morse in year 1 for the starting spot. Id look at adding McClaughin late.

Based on this, I'd be hesitant to take Booker that high until further evaluations are done.
For current position my top 2 picks r hunter and Johnson (hunter most likely goes to Patriots imo ), if we do decide to trade back , let's say baalke ( or hopefully the new gm) trades back as far as 10th, i would not be opposed to selecting McMillan or starks
Hell if they do decide to go jeanty all the more power to them We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!
Just did a mock draft on Fanspeak and was able to land my almost perfect draft class:
Rd. 1 (3): Travis Hunter- Cornerback/receiver Rd. 2 (35) Walter Nolen- DT Rd. 3 (67) Nick Emmanwori- Safety Rd. 3 (95) Tate Ratledge- Guard/center Rd. 4 (104) Xavier Watts-Safety Rd. 4 (131) Kyle Kennard-Edge Rd. 5 (140) Tyler Warren- TE Rd.6 (178) Jonah Manheim- OT Rd. 6 (192) Jayden Higgins-WR Of course, this would never happen since Warren, Emmanwori and Ratledge are all likely to go at least 1 round earlier. It's possible that this class may include the best cornerback, safety, DT, interior OL and tight end in the entire draft. Add in a developmental pass rusher with upside, a potential number 3 receiver and a 2nd safety (Watts) who is a true playmaker in the secondary and you have my ideal draft. Updated draft with the 5th overall selection now. Based on needs. This is how I drafted as well as how things fell.
5th overall - Tetairoa McMillan - WR - Arizona - Nabbed PFF's 2nd best overall prospect. Think he's a great addition to BTJ. Gives Lawrence a viable tandem throughout the rest of his contract in Jacksonville. 41st overall - Mike Green - EDGE - Marshall - Dominate edge rusher this season. Has a wide variety of moves and we desperately need a third pass rushing presence on this defense. It's non existent beyond JHA and Walker. 72nd overall - Maxwell Hairston - CB - Kentucky - Solid CB, good in run defense as well, falls a bit due to injury in 2024 but he's honestly a late RD1, early RD2 talent. Couldn't pass on him here in RD3. 95th overall - Connor Colby - OG - Iowa - This might seem too high for Colby, but, he'll rise up fast in my opinion. Nasty streak in him. He's Scherff's replacement. 108th overall - Jaeden Roberts - OG - Alabama - He could push Colby or even Cleveland for a starting job in my opinion. We need bigger, stronger guys within the interior that can generate a ground game. Roberts fits that bill. 132nd overall - Jared Wilson - OC - Georgia - He's going to be a solid riser I think once the play off games and championship games conclude. Solid player, he's Morse's replacement. 143rd overall - Malachi Moore - S - Alabama - Good player, we need safety depth and help, he's played against some good looking competition in the SEC. While not dominate, he could challenge for a job here. 180th overall - Brandon Crenshaw-Dickson - OT - Florida - Feels like a steal here. Has LT and RT experience. While we did draft Javon Foster last year as the swing tackle, he did little in 2024 to instill confidence. We need depth here. 193rd overall - Will Howard - QB - Ohio St. - This could be another steal. I am operating under the idea that we're losing Mac Jones to FA in March. Howard has a chance to send his stock through the roof with a major upset over Oregon here soon. 225th overall - Kyle Monangai - RB - Rutgers - Solid, stout and consistent RB out of Rutgers. Didn't want to chance him falling into the rookie free agency pool. With ETN's future here more than likely coming to an end after 2025 and De'Ernest Johnson just being a guy. We need a 3rd back. ![]() "What do I know of cultured ways, the gilt, the craft and the lie? I, who was born in a naked land and bred in the open sky. I know a lot wont like this but I was thinking about this yesterday.
1. Jeanty 2. Ratledge 2. Trade back into the 2nd and take Restrepo Sign Buda Baker or Justin Reid in FA Sign Byron Murphy Sign Drew Dalmon Sign a verteran edge.
Multiple trades made, picked up a future pair of RD2 and RD3's and multiple RD4's and RD7's in the process.
16th overall - Nic Scourton - EDGE - Texas A&M 51st overall - Mike Green - EDGE - Marshall 72nd overall - Xavier Restrepo - WR - Miami, FL 85th overall - Kevin Winston Jr. - S - Penn State 95th overall - Gunnar Helm - TE - Texas 108th overall - Blake Miller - OT - Clemson 117th overall - Charles Grant - OG - William & Mary 132nd overall - Sebastian Castro - S - Iowa 141st overall - Jake Majors - OC - Texas 143rd overall - Nazir Stackhouse - DT - Georgia 180th overall - Cameron Skattebo - RB - Arizona State 187th overall - Domani Jackson - CB - Alabama 192nd overall - Justin Walley - CB - Minnesota 193rd overall - Luke Kandra - OG - Cincinnati 196th overall - Brandon Crenshaw-Dickson - OT - Florida 225th overall - Ricky White - WR - UNLV ![]() "What do I know of cultured ways, the gilt, the craft and the lie? Quick one. No trades. Like this class overall.
5th overall - Tetairoa McMillan - WR - Arizona 41st overall - Mike Green - EDGE - Marshall 72nd overall - Kyle Kennard - EDGE - South Carolina 95th overall - Kevin Winston Jr. - S - Penn State 108th overall - Blake Miller - OT - Clemson 132nd overall - Charles Grant - OG - William & Mary 143rd overall - Jake Majors - OC - Texas 180th overall - Cameron Skattebo - RB - Arizona State 193rd overall - Rylie Mills - DT - Notre Dame 225th overall - Upton Stout - CB - Western Kentucky ![]() "What do I know of cultured ways, the gilt, the craft and the lie? The Jaguars need to take an interior offensive lineman no later than round 3 and I'd prefer doing this in round 2. They should add another one like Majors or Grant later on. I place McMillan in a similar category to Jeanty. Very good player who would be perfect complement to BTJ, but I'm taking a big guy like Mason Graham. While he is not a guaranteed home-run, the chances of him succeeding are pretty good and this would significantly improve the entire defense. Again, not debating the quality of your mocks but I'd just go in a different direction by prioritizing both lines.

After losing to the Giants, I'm afraid they may just quit while Pederson would love nothing more than another win over an AFC South opponent to hang on to his job. If they do beat the Colts, my top choice would be Will Johnson however the Raiders would likely grab him first if they pick ahead of the Jaguars. At this point, I'm not sure who I'd take if both Graham and Johnson are gone. McMillan would also likely be gone at 10, but the temptation of having he and BTJ on the field together would make him the number 3 guy on my list. I just can't see taking a tackle like Banks or Campbell since the team is committed to Harrison and Little; also, neither of those guys seems to be elite. I like Jeanty, but this board/fanbase is going to erupt if we draft another 1st round RB. Think we should get Will Campbell or Kelvin Banks, let the best tackles play and let the other be depth (imo it's fine, need the depth, injuries are inevitable on the line). Other option is to try Anton at guard. I'm not against Jeanty, it's just going to be a tough sell.

He could play it but I want a very good run blocker at RG and thats not Anton.

I'm all good with it tbh. |
