Josh Hines-Allen vs the Colts = 10.5 career sacks in 10 career games.
He has 3 games with multiple sacks against the Colts. It would be nice to see Walker and Hines-Allen get double digit sacks in back to back seasons. Maason Smith is currently 3rd on the team in sacks. The defense only has 6 ints, no player has more than 1 interception. 6 interceptions is tied for the least amount in franchise history. Bigsby needs 23 all purpose yards to have 1,000 AP Yards.
Clots are masters of losing games to improve draft position. Now they are out of the playoffs, look out.

I wouldn’t worry about draft position. We had the number 1 overall pick 2 years in a row and look where we are. If they want someone bad enough they will trade the picks/assets for him. I won’t ever forget Atlanta came all the way up to get Julio Jones. Jaguars went up to get Harvey and on and on. If you’re wanting Henry, he can be scooped up by the Jaguars regardless if we win against the Colts.
Let's beat the Colts so that they fire their GM Ballard and their Head Coach Shane Steichen.
We are doing them a service. (12-30-2024, 07:35 PM)JagFanatic24 Wrote: I wouldn’t worry about draft position. We had the number 1 overall pick 2 years in a row and look where we are. That is out the question now, so yes, agree don't worry about draft position.
Throw it to BTJ every play and hopefully the defense will screw up enough to lose the game while BTJ scores some TDs.

Whatever the score is on Sunday will have no impact on Shads decision. They are either gone or staying already. That's the worry. Plenty of teams looking for HCs and GMs already and we haven't hit Black Monday where I expect more to go. The worry is going to be waiting for guys like Ben Johnson and Coen to get eliminated from the playoffs before we can talk and there will be multiple teams interested. For me, the shortlist should be a page of A4 paper with Ben Johnsons name on it. (12-31-2024, 08:21 AM)JagFan81 Wrote:You can talk to these coaches while their teams are still in the playoffs. I sure hope so, but there are a lot of rules for tampering and stuff, and in this day and age I’m sure there would have been some sort of leak about potential options/interviews. There would also be strong leaks about Baalke being let go. All we really have heard is vague rumors and that really the only person who knows is Shad himself. Meanwhile the Jets have been full on looking for GM options for weeks. There is going to be a lot of HC jobs available, I’d hate to miss out on the top options because we are too busy looking for a GM due to Shads inactivity. Kyle Shanahan had a deal in place with the 49ers while coaching the Falcons in the SB. We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today! On that piece of paper will be either his signature or his brains.
Once again I hope not only for a win, but a big win. Screw the draft.

Let's help Mac get that big payday!!
400 yards and 4 TD's with perfect passer rating
Josh Hines-Allen not traveling with the team and is out for the game.
Tanking?

Jags in "must lose" game tomorrow. The difference between picking 5th and 9th is huge. At 5, they will likely have their choice of Graham, Johnson and Banks with Carter a possibility. At 9, the only possibiliy is Johnson.
Listening to Dougs press conference on Friday, I think he knows what the decision is going to be on Black Monday.
And I'm starting to think there's a 5% chance he's being given another year. |
