The Jags missing out on their top 2 candidates, one of which went back to being an OC!, has officially broken me. This should have been the easiest offseason in Jags history. Fire Baalke and Doug. Start fresh with Ben Johnson or Liam Coen with a new GM. Breath some life back into this dumpster fire of a franchise. It was so simple. And they blew it. They'll try to spin this as "It was always Saleh. He was our first choice." When we all know he wasn't. Both Coen and Johnson said the setup wasn't for them and it's so obvious it's Baalke.

Add on top of that the board being just as unstable as this franchise? Yea. Have a good offseason everyone.

He has options but can't screw up again, so I doubt he takes the job. Saleh was so bad he doesn't really have options. He will take the job to get 1 more high paying contract before he goes back to being a DC.

Yep.  We've always heard, there are only 32 of these jobs in the world, but apparently, that doesn't matter.  Apparently, there are coordinator jobs that are better than this one.

This is not a long term job opportunity. This is at best a paycheck. Whoever they end up hiring, I would be on board if the GM situation wasn't the total train wreck that it appears to be from the outside. A GM with one year left on his contract is running the Head Coach search? This isn't a head coaching search at all.

I cannot state clear enough that it is laudable and honorable to cement the town in Jacksonville but wow of wow the football operations are ghastly.
