I feel like, at this point, the last shot for TLaw's success is Joe Brady. If he can't get a (long-term) offensive mind into the building, I don't see him progressing his career. Even if Saleh brings in a great OC and he has success, it'll be a matter of time before that person gets a HC job and Trevor has to start from scratch.

For a guy like Liam, with no other options, to pass us up to stay as an OC is a major indictment. Clearly this organization is toxic.
Sounds like we'll only get some desperate for the opportunity. If we go with one of the defensive candidates I do hope they bring a physicality we've been lacking. And obviously the OC will be imperative. Hopefully a guy who runs a physical style of running game and throws the ball down the field. ________________________________________________ Scouting well is all that matters. In case it hasn't been mentioned, Aaron Glenn is also off the table. Coaching for the Jets.

Just when we think that things can't get worse, they do. For a guy like Coen to likely turn down an opportunity to be a head coach speaks volumes. I guess Khan doesn't care what others think since he's a billionaire. The only appropriate response is for the season ticket holders to cancel out or simply boycott attending the games.Maybe that will get his attention,
Why are we still fans of this putrid poverty franchise? Are we all masochist secretly? The answer is yes.

Birth of the Franchise - November 30, 1993
Death of the Franchise - November 29, 2011 Fans deserve better. Thanks for all the good times too many are in the past.
How did Kahn become a billionaire with such poor personnel management ? It's incomprehensible.
Looks like Salah is coming into town on Thursday for a meeting with our illustrious owner and genius GM.

This is his first cycle being a HC candidate, he'll have many more at this rate. Anchoring himself to Baalke would have been career suicide. He made the right decision. Baalke is courting Saleh because he’s used to being controlled. Baalke can ride the Saleh wave three more years and probably survive him. Whereas, Coen would probably grow in clout and persuade Kahn to dump Baalke with Trevor’s backing. I expect Saleh to hire some no-name college grade coordinator like Gus Bradley did his first year to run the offense. It’s going to be bush league.

How long before our top 3 guys are Gruden, Del Rio and Press Taylor. I’m sadly not even kidding.
I'm condescending. That means I talk down to you.

So, just spit balling here, but here's an idea. Dissolve the franchise, cancel the new stadium, and save a billion dollars.
Sometimes, you just have to give up.
Shad Khan and Trent Baalke have killed my love of this franchise. Even in bad years I'd look forward to the draft. Now I don't even care. And I don't think I could ever care about another team either.
I just watched Ben Johnson talk about making Caleb the center of their offense and designing the plays around him. That's what Trevor deserves to have. That's what Baalke and Shad have stolen from him. Shad Khan is now the worst owner in the NFL. He might be a self-made billionaire but he's a complete fool when it comes to the NFL. A fan poll could run this team better. We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!
Will Shad get it yet? While he may still like Baalke, it's clear what the rest of the league think about him. Boy this is getting bad. The music is slowing down and we're the ones left standing on their own. Really feels like we are just lurching from candidate to candidate now rather than getting the target we wanted
Hell he'll probably make Baalke HC.
Shad is a moron when it comes to running an NFL team. I have no idea what he sees in Baalke, but it is just unacceptable that Baalke still has a job.
It's so hard to be a fan of this team sometimes.

I did NOT see this coming today. I was out for a few hours but the firing of Baalke brings me all the way back in lol. I can't believe it took Liam Coen turning down an in person interview for Shad to finally wake up. Truly remarkable. I thought both Pederson and Baalke would be gone after the season so it appears I was a few weeks too early. Better late than never.
This is similar to how Skins fans felt when Snyder left the team. Baalke was the biggest snake and a dark cloud over this organization. Go get Ian Cunningham and Joe Brady (or call Coen back!) and let's ride!

Waiting to do it definitely hurt this year's coaching search, but maybe we can still get Joe Brady to come in. It was probably telling when Coen turned down an in-person interview when he had no other interviews. |
