Probably because most of the traffic is on the other site. As much as I loved this place, it’s gone downhill with no rescue in sight. What good is a message board that can’t host messages?

Register at the other site, Winger. Granted, you won’t be allowed to be as irreverent as you are here, but it’s a good place to discuss the Jags and other stuff. There is no political forum, though.

I think it's come to a head. It's a challenge to have two sites running concurrently (and the conversations that follow on each). I know I don't have the time to keep up with multiple locations. Probably best for those in authority to either give it a vote to repair what can be repaired (even if that means some are asked to chip in to make it worth while) or to close the door and pass the torch.

I think the torch has been passed. Most, like me, are decreasingly looking at this site. Additionally, from what folks who have some inside knowledge say, not only have the admins left or are ambivalent, but the effort needed to get the site back to its previous performance is pretty extensive. Ruling out a shining knight who is willing to put forth the energy and finance to save this site, it’s time to stick a fork in it.

For myself being a international viewer, the site is very slow, especially on game day, it's the worst

The other site is much quicker, and the layout is nice

I currently do view both but the new site does have more perks atm for myself

I've been a Jags fan since '95 and I used to spend a lot of time on the various Jags forums, but I've practically given up on this one and moved to the other one. Too often you try and come here and the site is down, especially after big news. Time to shut it down.

For anybody looking for a life hack to get to the message board:

Go to google, type in Duval Pride Forum, click on “Division”

For some reason if I come through the side-door, it lets me in. But if I try clicking on the Main Jaguars Fan Forum, it takes a while or doesn’t let me in at all.

It’s been working for me. And if you’re having trouble posting or replying, if you click the “post” button 2 or 3 times it will work.
