Wildfires rage across the Carolinas; SC governor issues state of emergency

https://www.yahoo.com/news/wildfires-pro...41491.html

I wonder who the malignant narcissist scumbag piece of [BLEEP] liar grifter rapist seditionist felon serial adulterer and tax cheat will blame. Won't be a repuke for sure

There may be some Biden voters in those states for Donald to blame.

Or, he could claim that the embers originated in California and talk about how his Iron Dome will prevent the spread of liberal forest fires.

I'd prefer you find some other type of therapy for your psychosis. Moonbat leftist TDS Sufferer is so tired at this point.

Yet more projection. You are quite good at parroting standard right wing insult jargon. Putin loves you for doing so.

Wildfires happen everywhere, especially in wooded areas which is basically what the Carolina's are.
the fact a fire began was never the issue in California nor the reason for the discussions on ineptitude there. To be fair let's not judge right off. We should see how they manage the process before running around like chicken little. Of course you are so inclined to do that feel free to do so.

First off I know they have been doing proper forest management processes.
The mayors of the nearby cities have not taken trips overseas while the fires are burning.
I have yet to see on social media multiple selfies of either governor looking concerned.
These fires are in the woods, not in the middle of populated areas  How the heck did California manage to burn the middle of a city?
There are reportedly about 175 fires with high winds spread over 4200 acres.

Typically, South Carolina faces around 5,000 wildfires a year, burning almost 30,000 acres, according to the state Emergency Management Division. Similarly, North Carolina saw 4,588 wildfires in 2024, which burned over 15,000 acres.

But we should monitor and see. Then we can compare the number of houses destroyed, acres burned, citizens displaced, etc My guess is they will do a bit better than CA.

You're an idiot. We've been under red flag warnings since Thursday due to lack of rain, windy conditions and extremely low humidity and dew point. Blame the idiots who decided to burn yard debris anyway, throw cigarettes out of their vehicles, drop a lit match on the ground, etc.

We've had two fires in my county alone and others in counties north and east of us this weekend. That's just one specific location in NC.

Just shut up with your idiocy.

I never wished harm or destruction to anything. That is on you!

The malignant narcissist scumbag piece of [BLEEP] liar grifter rapist seditionist felon serial adulterer and tax cheat loves to blame when these things happen. Just curious who the cowardly [BLEEP] head would blame for these wildfires. Probably the new Governor of NC.

Obviously it's those damn Jewish space lasers again. Get MTG on the case.

Well said. The people in NC and SC manage things properly.

I believe someone is mad as while lighting their farts their pants caught on fire. He is blaming the lighter company for no disclaimer on the lighter.

I don't give a [BLEEP] what you compare. I just want to see who the malignant narcissist scumbag piece of [BLEEP] liar grifter rapist seditionist felon serial adulterer and tax cheat is going to blame. We will see if restrictions are applied to aid. And this after getting hammered by wet weather and massive flooding.

Nah, he's seething. His pain is that America is actually first and most powerful on the entire planet. It just infringes on this delicate feminine sensibilities.

Just like there are things CA could do better, I'm sure there are things SC and NC could do better.

Difference is Trump's not going to try to find out what those things are and make them into a national political issue.
With CA, Trump made valid points, but it was petty.

He's not going to say anything mean about the Carolinas because they vote for him, but remember when they had the floods, candidate Trump tried to make it look like Biden didn't care about the Carolinas, even though Biden did. Trump automatically thought that Biden would punch the Carolinas while they were down, just like Trump punches California when it's down. He operates as if everybody is as ruthless and graceless as he is.

But the Trump supporters here find this kind of post tiresome. They know Trump is petty as hell and partisan as hell and they wouldn't care if the Democrats imitated him in this regard.
My fellow southpaw Mark Brunell will probably always be my favorite Jaguar.

Your pretty funny there. The governments of NC and SC are doing their jobs. This is woodland fires that happen annually. The wind made this one better. There are fire hydrants with water, proper forestry processes have been followed, the manpower is there, an operational plan is being executed, .. etc. Unlike California that had none of this.  I still cannot figure out how the heck they were able to burn down the Palisades in California. I have been there. That was an advanced level of incompetence there. You really want to die on this hill?

The Carolinas are doing a better job but they also have a much easier situation in general.  If they're going to have 100 mph winds, it'll be wet.  And they have much less people spending much less money for houses there, so you don't see as many subdivisions tightly packed on hillsides the way you do in CA.

I know here in NC the state does controlled burns throughout the year. Fort Bragg which covers 251 square miles and Camp Mackall covering over 62k acres, much of them wooded, does their own controlled burns. Local landscaping companies are encouraged by the county to collect pine straw from public wooded areas to use in whatever they need it for.

As for making this political.... That seems to happen now no matter who is in the governor's mansion or the WH and the local people suffer for it. Neither Biden nor Trump (or any politician) give a rat's [BLEEP] about anything unless it helps them politically but they, meaning the parties, are both going to be more 'considerate' to those who voted for them. That's just the world we live in.

I agree Trump is petty as hell but so are the rest of them. Biden and Harris were just as bad. To not acknowledge that is being disingenuous.
