Christian Kirk and other contract notables

That's my feeling also.
We already have BTJ and Engram and some young guys that might take the next step.  Kirk is a luxury and we need those resources to go into the offensive line.
My fellow southpaw Mark Brunell will probably always be my favorite Jaguar.

He has some open field breakaway speed but at 6’3 he struggles with accelerating. He offers some gunner ability and excels running down under kicks/punts.

Comes from a rugby background from the United Kingdom.

Jaguars also sign QB John Wolford over from the Rams where he started 3 games last year. He tossed 1 TD and 3 picks. QB Rating of 64% and a QBR of 24.2 - nothing to see here

Exactly, that's why Baalke signed him last year.  Ninja

I think we stay put and we take an OL. Unless, Abdul Carter is still there.

I think Kirk is a slightly above average player that was making way too much money for his level of production. A good person who was drastically overpaid as a free agent because that’s how you acquire UFA’s He does not have the speed and size combination needed to excel at his position. I will always respect him for taking accountability for a game early in the season where he had 2 crucial drops which cost us a game. Change is constant and this gives him an opportunity to Lombardi chase on a really good team.
Respect the game.  Play with a sense of urgency.

1.)  Take care of the ball.  Win the turnover battle.

2.)  It's all about 3rd down.  Win on 3rd down to win the game.

3.) Playmakers make plays.  The only reason that you put your uniform on is to make plays. In order to EARN your paycheck, you must make plays.

Learn from the great collapse of 2023.

I too saw this. The new regime has started the process, as expected to fill the roster w/their Like Minded Players.

Time Will Tell.

if jags want to win they need to majorly improve the 0-line,or Trevor will be running for his life again which increases chances for him to get injured. the defensive line needs improvement to,just not as bad as o-line.

Now it says he was traded to the Tinhorns for a 7th rounder.

Edit: Definitely Tinhorns. It is said to be a 2026 7th-round pick.

Yes, the cost to get rid of him is significant. He's here one more year. I heard that Armstead is going to restructure, we'll see if they can get both to do so.

Nice guy, but he can’t stay healthy. Durability matters
